Palm Shade and a good coconut - Digital art

Very good morning to all my dear readers and all art lovers in general, welcome once again to my artistic blog, today I want to share with you a small illustration that I made in free style, I was sketching a couple of days ago and suddenly I started to remember a little my trips to the beach (before the pandemic of course XD), and I started to think why don't I draw something about the beach, that's why I decided to do this work which I titled Palm Shade and a good coconut, I hope you like it and I'll leave you with part of the process:

Muy buen día a todos mis queridos lectores y a todos los amantes del arte en general, sean bienvenidos una vez más a mi blog artístico, hoy les quiero compartir una pequeña ilustración que realice a estilo libre, estaba bocetando hace un par de días atrás y de repente comencé a recordaba un poco mis viajes a la playa (antes de la pandemia claro XD), las amistades y la familia con quien se disfrutaba esos viajes, y me puse a pensar Oye por qué no dibujo algo sobre la playa, es por ello que decidí hace esta obra la cual titule La Sombra de palmas y un buen coco, espero les guste y los dejo con parte del proceso:

PROCESS / PROCESO

Well the first thing to do was to make a good sketch, for that I had to draw from memory and I decided to base it on a memory about an old friend the last time we went to the beach, she was drinking coconut water and on that occasion I told her that she looked very good for a drawing, she is very light skinned but with several days at the beach her skin had taken a little more color, so I decided to use the most similar colors that I remembered for the base of the skin in my drawing.

Bueno lo primero fue hacer un buen boceto, para ello tuve que echar un poco de memoria y decidí basarme en un recuerdo sobre una vieja amiga la última vez que fuimos a la playa, ella se encontraba bebiendo agua de coco y en esa ocasión le dije que se veía muy bien para un dibujo, ella es de piel muy clara pero ya con varios días en la playa su piel había tomado un poco mas de color, así que decidí usar los colores más parecidos que yo recordaba para la base de la piel en mi dibujo.

The next thing was to give more details to the face, I applied colors that gave more volume and above all I continued with the painting of eyes and lips, for the eyes I decided to use several shades of brown and orange mixed together, I blurred them and I managed to get what I wanted, for the swimsuit I could not remember exactly how it was, but my friend had the habit of using very strong colors and with lots of details, so I chose to paint the swimsuit in a strong fuchsia tone and added some stars print.

Lo siguiente fue darle mas detalles al rostro, aplique colores que dieran mas volumen y sobre todo seguí con el pintado de ojos y labios, para los ojos decidí usar varios tonos de castaño y naranja mezclados entre sí, los difumine y logre llegar a lo que deseaba, para el traje de baño no pude recordar con exactitud cómo era, pero mi amiga tenía la costumbre de usar colores muy fuertes y con mucho detalles, así que opte por pintar el traje de baño de un tono fucsia fuerte y agregue algunas estrellas de estampado.

For the hair I decided to do a base painting with an airbrush, to later add details of depth and closeness with stronger colors and using flatter brushes, finally with a thinner and more specific brush I painted one by one the thin and long locks that would give the final shape and a good finish to all the hair.

Para el cabello decidí hacer un pintado base con un pincel aerógrafo, para posteriormente agregar detalles de profundidad y cercanía con colores más fuertes y usando pinceles mas planos, por ultimo con un pincel más delgado y especifico fui pintando uno por uno los mechones delgados y largos que le darían la forma final y un buen acabado a todo el cabello.

For the background I had the idea of making a couple of palm trees and that's it, but I felt that it would look very empty and boring, that's why I decided to paint the coast of the beach with a bluer background, little by little I was detailing more and more the palm trees, sand and others, I also added some small clouds and the flash of the sun in the distance, looking for this highlights and complement the work a little more.

Para el fondo tenía la idea de hacer un par de palmeras y ya, pero sentí que se vería muy vacio y aburrido, es por ello que me anime a pintar la costa de la playa con el mas azul de fondo, poco a poco fui detallando mas y mas las palma, arena y demás, también agregue algunas pequeñas nubes y el destello del sol a lo lejos, buscando con esto resalta y complementar un poco más la obra.
