Olivia the Dark Angel of the Red Storm

Good morning to all my dear readers and all art lovers, I welcome you once again to my art blog, today I bring you a new drawing in the dark style and it is Olivia the Dark Angel of the red storm, a powerful dark entity that is very difficult to find unless she wants or allows it. Here I want to show you a little bit of the process of this artwork that I hope you like it very much:

Buen día a todos mis queridos lectores y a todos los amantes de arte, les doy la bienvenida una vez más a mi blog de arte, el día de hoy les traigo un nuevo dibujo al estilo oscuro y se trata de Olivia el Ángel oscuro de la tormenta roja, una poderosa entidad sombría que es muy difícil de encontrar salvo que ella lo desee o lo permita. Aquí quiero mostrarles un poco del proceso de esta obra que espero les guste mucho:

PROCESS / PROCESO

I tried to make a pretty fresh sketch for Olivia, I drew her as a young woman but with an imposing presence and covered by her big wings, then for the painting process I took my time to choose suitable and representative colors, especially for the skin painting section where I wanted to give good detail to the upper part of the body.

Trate de hacer un boceto bastante fresco para Olivia, la dibuje como una mujer joven pero con presencia imponente y cubierta por sus grandes alas, luego para el proceso de pintado me tome mi tiempo para elegir colores adecuados y representativos, sobre todo para el apartado del pintado de la piel donde quería dar buen detalle a la parte alta del cuerpo.

I was giving good volume and structure to the skin and especially to the face, and then I added specific details to the face like the eyes and lips, for the eyes I wanted to use a very special and striking color, that's why I first used a scarlet red as a base and then I added brighter and warmer reds which I blurred a little so that the eyes could take shape.

Fui dándole buen volumen y estructura a la piel y sobre todo al rostro, para luego ir añadiendo detalles específicos al rostro como los ojos y labios, para los ojos quise usar un color bastante especial y llamativo, es por ello que emplee primero un rojo escarlata como base y luego fui añadiendo rojos más brillantes y cálidos los cuales difumine un poco para que fueran tomando forma los ojos.

I decided to paint the hair with a fairly opaque blonde tone as a base and then gradually give it a more realistic shape with shadows and glitter to give more structure to everything, in addition to the thin strands with much brighter colors at the end, then move on to painting the wings, here I also took quite some time because I wanted to take care of the small details of the feathers intertwined with each other, in addition to the small shadows and glitter that complemented the large wings of Olivia.

El cabello me decidí pintarlo con un tono rubio bastante opaco como base para luego ir poco a poco dándole una forma mas realista con sombras y brillos que le dieran mas estructura a todo, además de los mechones delgados con colores muchos más brillantes al final, luego pase al pintado de las alas, aquí también me tome bastante tiempo pues quise cuidar los pequeños detalles de las plumas entrelazadas entre si, además de las pequeñas sombras y brillos que complementaron las grandes alas de Olivia.

To complement a little my drawing I was encouraged to make a good background or scenery for Olivia, being a dark angel I had the first idea of making a dark background too, but it was until the painting of the wings that I came up with the idea of making a stormy and cloudy background with bright red thunder to contrast with Olivia, then I illuminated certain areas with brightness and also shadows in reddish tones to give a better finish to the work.

Para complementar un poco mi dibujo me anime a realizar un buen fondo o escenario para Olivia, al ser un ángel oscuro tenia la primera idea de hacer un fondo oscuro también, pero fue hasta el pintado de las alas que se me ocurrió la idea de realizar un fondo tormentoso y nublado con truenos rojos que brillantes que contrastaran con Olivia, luego ilumine ciertas zonas con brillos y también sombras en tonalidad rojiza para darle un mejor acabado a la obra.
