Magdrey the soldiery of the royal guard

Very good morning to all my dear readers and happy start of the week to all, today I want to welcome you again to my artistic blog, you may remember that a few days ago I shared with you a work about an intergalactic princess called Roumaly, who was the heiress of a system of the star system-29, well today I want to introduce you to Magdrey which is the friend and rival of our princess, both grew up together since they were little, but between the two always existed a great rivalry, Magdrey was formed as a fearless soldier, becoming part of the royal guard, despite this Magdrey is extremely ambitious and aspires someday to assume the throne and rule the entire system-29, even be able to confront the princess Roumaly to achieve their goal.

In this post I want to show you a little bit of the process of how I made this work so you can appreciate it better:

Muy buen día a todos mis queridos lectores y feliz inicio de semana para todos, hoy quiero darles la bienvenida otra vez a mi blog artístico, tal vez recuerden que hace algunos días compartí con ustedes una obra sobre una princesa intergaláctica llamada Roumaly, que era la heredera de un sistema del sistema estelar-29, pues el día de hoy quiero presentarles a Magdrey la cual es la amiga y rival de nuestra princesa, ambas crecieron juntas desde pequeñas, pero entre las 2 siempre existió una gran rivalidad, Magdrey se formo como una intrépida soldada, llegando a formar parte de la guardia real, a pesar de ello Magdrey es sumamente ambiciosa y aspira algún día asumir el trono y gobernar todo el sistema -29,incluso sería capaz de enfrentarse a la princesa Roumaly para lograr su objetivo.

En este post quiero mostrarle un poco el proceso de cómo hice esta obra para qué la aprecien mejor:

PROCESS / PROCESO

First of all I started sketching Magdrey, I tried to give him a young appearance but also a cold and calculating expression, if we see his look we can appreciate that he is up to something, then with the structure of the line ready I proceeded to color everything very well, for the skin I used tones very similar to the ones I used with Roumaly, being a race belonging to a system of planets surrounded by 3 suns is why I decided to give him a very tanned skin tone.

Primero que nada comencé bocetando a Magdrey, trate de darle una apariencia joven pero también expresión fría y calculadora, si vemos su mirada podremos apreciar que se trae algo entre manos, luego con la estructura del lineado listo allí si procedí a colorear todo muy muy bien, para la piel utilice tonos muy parecidos a los que utilice con Roumaly, al ser una raza perteneciente a un sistema de planetas rodeado por 3 soles es por ello que decidí darle un tono de piel sumamente bronceado.

The next thing after having the base colors for the skin was to give it detail, first was giving volume and then I was painting the details on the face, the eyes for this drawing of Magdrey I decided to make them a little different since she does not belong to the royal family, I painted the eyeball with gray and white and then the iris of an orange mixed with red tones.

Lo siguiente luego de tener los colores base para la piel fue irle dando detalle, primero fue dando volumen y luego fui pintando los detalles en el rostro, los ojos para este dibujo de Magdrey los decidí hacer un poco diferentes ya que ella no pertenece a la familia real, pinte el globo ocular con grises y blanco y luego el iris de un naranja mezclado con tonos rojos.

Then I continued with Magdrey's clothing, for her I wanted to make a kind of special suit like leather skin but with reddish and vinotint tones, a long cape of a similar tone and small details on the arms and neck, then I continued with the hair painting, as this is a race very similar to the human race I decided to use blond tones for the hair, various shades of yellow and brown were giving shape to everything to culminate with the final locks with brighter yellow tones.

Luego proseguí con la vestimenta de Magdrey, para ella quise hacer una especie de traje especial como de piel de cuero pero con tonos rojizos y vinotinto, una larga capa de un tono similar y pequeños detalles en los brazos y cuello, luego seguí con el pintado del cabello, como esta es una raza muy parecida a la raza humana decidí usar tonos rubios para el cabello, varios tonos de amarillo y marrón fueron dándole forma a todo para culminar con los mechones finales con tonos amarillos más brillantes.

Already with the character of Magdrey ready the following thing was to make a good background that would serve me as scenery for this work, in this case I decided to paint a kind of big crater of high mountains from where Magdrey observes and draws his plan against the princess Roumaly, I created several rock formations and painted one of the 3 suns that fly over the planet where our characters live, then I created some kind of clouds in orange tone and other details of relief in the rocks in the back.

Ya con el personaje de Magdrey listo lo siguiente fue hacer un buen fondo que me sirviera como escenario para esta obra, en este caso decidí pintar una especie de gran cráter de montañas alto desde donde Magdrey observa y traza su plan contra la princesa Roumaly, cree varias formaciones rocosas y pinte uno de los 3 soles que sobrevuelan el planeta donde habitan nuestro personajes, luego cree unas especies de nubes en tono naranja y demás detalles de relieve en las rocas de atrás.
