Very good morning dear community of readers, welcome again to my blog, today I bring you Josline the scarlet witch, this was a drawing which I finished just yesterday afternoon and I could not wait to share it with you today, Josline is a very very powerful witch, being extremely beautiful and demure no one would suspect that this is a woman who has great dark powers, able to do with them both fantastic and terrible things if she proposes, in this post I want to show you a little of the process of how I did it and I hope you like it:

Muy buen día querida comunidad de lectores, sean bienvenidos otras vez a mi blog, el hoy les traigo a Josline la bruja escarlata, este fue un dibujo el cual finalice justamente ayer en la tarde y no podía esperar para compartirlo hoy con ustedes, Josline se trata de una bruja muy muy poderosa, al ser extremadamente bella y recatada nadie sospecharía que se trata de una mujer la cual posee grande poderes oscuros, capaces de hacer con ellos cosas tanto fantástica como terribles si se lo propone, en este post les quiero mostrar un poco el proceso de cómo la hice y espero les guste:

PROCESS / PROCESO

I started doing many lines to define a little bit the shape of Josline's character, besides establishing a little bit the scenery where he would be, and then with the idea well shaped I had to outline it all to be able to paint it in a better way.

Inicie haciendo muchas líneas para definir un poco la forma del personaje de Josline, además de establecer un poco en escenario donde se encontraría además, y luego con la idea bien plasmada no me quedaba más que delinearla toda para poder pintarla de una mejor manera.

I proceeded with the application of colors for the whole drawing, in a first layer I started to give a suitable skin tone, applied the first base with a normal brush and then was adding details of volume to areas such as cheekbones, nose, mouth and so on.

Proseguí con la aplicación de colores para todo el dibujo, en una primera capa empecé a darle un tono a la piel adecuado, aplique la primera base con un pincel normal y luego fue agregando detalles de volumen a zonas como los pómulos, nariz, boca y demás.

With the eyes I wanted to go out of the conventional and not paint them black or something like that, that's why I decided to use a very very light brown that I liked a lot, little by little I added details to the iris and so on.

Con los ojos quise salirme mucho de los convencional y no pintarlos de negro o algo así, es por ello que decidí usar un marrón muy muy claro que me gusto mucho, poco a poco le fui agregando detalles al iris y demás.

I continued with the hair, as Josline would wear a cape I didn't focus on drawing a lot of hair, but I still left some strands loose to show a little that this is a young woman, I painted those long strands with a light chocolate color and little by little I added dark and light details to give it shape and relief.

Continúe con el cabello, como Josline llevaría una capa no me enfoque en dibujar mucho cabello, pero aun así deje alguno mechones sueltos para que su apreciara un poco que se trata de una mujer joven, pinte dichos mechones largos con un color chocolate claro y poco a poco le fui añadiendo detalles oscuros y claros para darle forma y relieve.

The word scarlet in the name of the drawing is mostly due to the cloak or tunic that Jorline wears and that covers her whole body up to her feet, I decided to paint it scarlet red because I liked it when I was trying the shades of red, and also from the beginning I had the idea that something in the drawing had this color, I was making some folds and wrinkles to the cloak to make it look better and a little more real.

La palabra escarlata en el nombre del dibujo se debe más que todo a la capa o túnica que lleva puesta Jorline y que cubre todo su cuerpo hasta los pies, decidí pintarla de un rojo escarlata pues me gusto cuando fue probando las tonalidades de rojo, a demás desde un principio tenía la idea de que algo en el dibujo llevara este color, le fue haciendo algunos pliegues y arrugas a la capa para que quedara mejor y se viera un poco más real.

For the background I wanted to make a kind of trunk of a big tree in which Josline is lying, I painted the base of the tree and then I was making the details to the bark, I used a lot of variation of brown shades to make the tree look better, and finally I decided to add more glitter to the eyes and other areas that I thought they lacked a touch more.

Para el fondo quise hacer una especie de tronco de un gran árbol en el cual Josline se encentra recostada, pinte a base del árbol y luego le fui haciendo los detalles a la corteza, utilice mucha variación de tonalidades marrón para que el árbol se viera mejor, y por ultimo decidí añadir más brillos a los ojos y otras zonas que creí les faltaba un toque más.
