Florencia's smile in the cloudy blue night

Hello my dear readers and I hope you have a happy start of the week, welcome once again to my art blog, today I want to present a work which I titled the smile of Florencia in the cloudy blue night, Florencia is a blonde girl of a very old medieval era, which has a very protective father who does not let his daughter out into the outside world to meet with her beloved, because he does not believe that neither he nor anyone else is worthy of her, yet Florencia takes advantage of the cloudy nights to escape from home and thus to meet with her beloved in a small hidden and secret lake. I hope you like it and I leave you with part of the process of making this work:

Hola mis queridos lectores y espero que tengan un feliz inicio de semana, sean bienvenidos una vez más a mi blog de arte, hoy les quiero presentar una obra la cual titule la sonrisa de Florencia en la nublosa noche azul, Florencia es una chica rubia de una época medieval muy antigua, la cual posee un padre sumamente protector que no deja que su hija salga al mundo exterior a reunirse con su amado, pues no cree que ni él ni nadie sea digno de ella, aun así Florencia aprovecha las noches nublosas para lograr escapar de su hogar y así poder encontrarse con su amado en un pequeño lago escondido y secreto. Espero les guste y lo dejo con parte del proceso de realización de esta obra:

PROCESS / PROCESO

First of all I started sketching my idea, for this I wanted to give Florencia a very fresh and relaxed look, I made soft and delicate strokes to achieve this look, then I started to apply colors and for this I used pale and a little opaque tones to establish a color base, then with airbrushes I was giving the first touch of volume to the skin mainly.

Primero que nada empecé bocetando mi idea, para esto quise darle a Florencia una apariencia bastante fresca y relajada, hice trazos suaves y delicados para lograr esta apariencia, luego comencé a aplicar colores y para ello use tonos pálidos y un poco opacos para estableces una base de color, luego con pinceles aerógrafos fui dando los primeros toque de volumen a la piel principalmente.

The next thing I did was to give good details to the face, for this I applied a first base to blush a little the cheeks and nose, then with a not so flat brush I began to paint more details like the lips and mainly the eyes, the lips I decided to paint them in a pink tone that later I was going to detail even more, while the eyes I decided to paint them with various shades of yellow and honey colors which I was blurring each other to achieve better internal effect.

Lo siguiente que hice fue darle buenos detalles al rostro, para ello aplique una primera base para ruborizar un poco las mejillas y nariz, luego con un pincel no tan plano comencé a pintar mas detalles como los labios y principalmente los ojos, los labios me decidí por pintarlos de un tono rosa que más adelante iba a ir detallando aun mas, mientras que los ojos decidí pintarlos con varios tonos de amarillo y colores miel los cuales fui difuminando entre sí para lograr mejor efecto interno.

As Florencia lived in a medieval time, I wanted to make her dress in a way appropriate to the time, I painted a kind of dark silk dress very striking, then add the folds that would give shape to the dress, the next thing was the painting of the hair, I had the idea from the beginning to paint it blonde, but I tried several shades until I got to this medium blonde tone that I love very much.

Como Florencia vivía en una época medieval quise hacer su vestimenta de manera adecuada a la época, pinte una especie de vestido de seda oscuro muy llamativo, para posteriormente agregar los pliegues que le dieran forma al vestido, lo siguiente fue el pintado del cabello, tuve la idea desde un inicio de pintarlo rubio, pero probé varias tonalidades hasta que llegue a este tono rubio medio que me encanto mucho.

As I said before this work takes place in a hidden lake of medieval times, that's why I wanted to make it special, first of all I applied a first base for the deep blue night, then I added some haze in stronger navy blue tones and some stars in the sky that would illuminate the night, then finally I painted with a diffuse airbrush some lines of haze in electric blue that would contrast with the dark night but also with the reflection of the stars in the lake and give that shining effect behind Florencia.

Como dije anteriormente esta obra se desarrolla en un lago oculto de la época medieval, es por ello que lo quise hacer especial, primero que nada aplique una primera base para la profunda noche azul, luego agregue un poco de neblina en tonos azul marino más fuerte y algunas estrellas en el cielo que iluminaran la noche, luego finalmente pinte con un pincel aerógrafo difuso algunas líneas de neblina en azul eléctrico que contrastaran con la noche oscura pero también con el reflejo de las estrellas en el lago y dieran ese efecto brillante atrás de Florencia.
