Alice's Soul - Digital Drawing

Good morning everyone, dear community of #Nerday, since a couple of weeks ago I heard about this excellent community in which you can share very varied content, but above all I encouraged me to join because you can share art which is what I mostly do, this time I want to share a drawing that I finished a couple of days ago and I thought it was a good idea to share it here, it is about Alice who is a girl with strong red hair, which we can see that she is pensive while she remembers an old love from her childhood. I liked the colors that I used in this drawing and how it turned out at the end, and I thought it would be a good idea to share it here and show you a little bit of the process:

Muy buen día tengan todos querida comunidad de #Nerday, desde hace un par de semanas me entere de la existencia de esta excelente comunidad en la cual se puede compartir contenido muy variado, pero sobretodo me anime a unirme porque se puede compartir arte que es lo que yo mayormente hago, en esta ocasión quiero compartirles un dibujo que termine hace un par de días y me pareció buena idea compartirlo aquí, se trata de Alice que es una chica de cabello rojizo fuerte, la cual podemos ver que se encuentra pensativa mientras recuerda a un antiguo amor de su infancia. Me gustaron los colores que utilice en este dibujo y como quede al final, y me pareció buena idea compartirlo por aquí y mostrarles un poco del proceso:

PROCESS / PROCESO

First of all I make my sketch, this helps me to have an idea of what I want to paint, I make some lines and then with the form more or less established there if I proceed to mark all the sketch with a definitive line.

Primero que nada hago mi boceto, esto me ayuda a tener una idea de que es lo que quiero pintar, hago algunas líneas y luego con la forma más o menos establecida allí si procedo a marcar todo el boceto con un lineado definitivo.

I applied colors little by little starting from the skin, I painted a base of skin in light color and then I added lighter and darker tones to give volume to all the skin, then I went to Alice's eyes and lips or which I also added a little volume with slightly smaller lines.

Fui aplicando colores poco a poco iniciando por la piel, pinte una base de piel en color claro y luego añadí tonos más claros y oscuros para darle volumen a toda la piel, luego me pase a los ojos y labios de Alice o los cuales también les agregue un poco de volumen con líneas un poco más pequeñas.

For the dress I had the idea of making a kind of low-cut dress which paint a grape color as a base, then with a brush a little more diffuse and delicate try to make some folds or wrinkles so that the dress looks a little more real, this was achieved using shades similar to the blouse but between light and dark.

Para la vestimenta tuve la idea de hacer una especie de vestido un poco escotado el cual pinte de un color uva como base, luego con un pincel un poco más difuso y delicado trate de hacer algunos pliegues o arrugas para que el vestido se viera un poco más real, esto lo logre utilizando tonalidades parecidas al de la blusa pero entre claras y oscuras.

For the hair I tried the most colors, originally it was going to be a very similar color to the dress, but trying and trying colors and variations was how I arrived at this half-scarlet red that I thought would look better, After choosing the color I added many lines of shadows scattered throughout the hair area to give it a little shape, with the shadows ready then I added many lines in lighter shade to create the hair strands to which it gives light from the environment, this I do because I think it gives much more shape and realism to my drawings.

Para el cabello fue para lo que mas probé colores, originalmente iba a ser de un color muy similar al del vestido, pero probando y probando colores y variaciones fue como llegue a este rojo medio escarlata que me pareció que se vería mejor, luego de elegir el color agregue muchas líneas de sombras muy dispersas por toda la zona del cabello para darle un poco de forma, con las sombras lista luego añadí muchas líneas en tonalidad más clara para crear los mechones de cabello a los cuales les da luz del ambiente, esto lo hago porque creo que le da muchas mas forma y realismo a mis dibujos.

Finally I painted a background and added additional shadows and lights to the whole drawing, areas like the inside of the hair that needed a little more shadows and the clothes, and the lights at the top like in the hair and eyes.

Por último pinte un fondo y añadí sombras y luces adicionales a todo el dibujo, zonas como la parte interna del cabello que necesitaban un poco mas de sombras y la ropa, y las luces en la parte alta como en el cabello y los ojos.
