Alastor the ancient red wizard

Hello very good morning my dear readers and especially to art lovers in general, today I come with a new drawing for my blog, today is about Alastor the red sorcerer, Alastor is an ancient and powerful sorcerer capable of doing unimaginable things with his amazing powers, almost nobody knows about him or have had the chance to meet him because he lives in the remote and high mountains of a distant place, the few people who have decided to seek him to receive his teachings on sorcery have had a very bad time, very few have managed to overcome all the tests of the sorcerer and have managed to be his disciple. Here I leave you the process of the drawing so you can appreciate it a little better:

Hola muy buen día mis queridos lectores y especialmente a los amantes del arte en general, el dia de hoy vengo con un nuevo dibujo para mi blog, el de hoy se trata de Alastor el hechicero rojo, Alastor es un antiguo y poderoso hechicero capaz de hacer inimaginables cosas con sus sorprendentes poderes, casi nadie sabe de él o han tenido la posibilidad de conocerlo pues vive en las recónditas y altas montañas de un lejano lugar, las pocas personas que han decido buscarlo para recibir sus enseñanzas sobre la hechicería la han pasado muy mal, muy pocos han logrado superar todas las pruebas del hechicero y han conseguido ser su discípulo. Aquí les dejo el proceso del dibujo para que lo aprecien un poco mejor:

I started sketching everything with many lines that gave shape to Alastor, then I began to apply the colors one by one, starting with the painting of the skin and of course giving the necessary volume to the wizard to make him look a little more real, I used tones for the skin that I don't normally use to give a new touch to this particular drawing and make it look special.

Inicie bocetando todo con muchas líneas que dieran forma a Alastor, luego comencé aplicar los colores uno por uno, iniciando con el pintado de la piel y claro dándole el volumen necesario para que el hechicero para que se viera un poco más real, use tonos para la piel que no uso normalmente para darle un nuevo toque a este dibujo en particular y que se viera especial.

For the details of the face I decided to make more specific features for Alastor, as he is an old wizard that's why I wanted to make an old age trait, first I painted some wrinkles and the eyelids of the eyes I made them a little droopy and with small additional wrinkles, so I achieved the age I wanted for this character.

Para los detalles del rostro decidí hacer rasgos más específicos para Alastor, como se trata de un hechicero anciano es por ello que quise hacer rasgo de edad avanzada, primero pinte algunas arrugas y los parpados de los ojos los hice un poco decaídos y con pequeñas arrugas adicionales, así logre la edad que deseaba para este personaje.

The way the wizard would be dressed I had it clear from the beginning, since I started sketching I decided to paint a kind of tunic or long cape which would cover his whole body, but I was not entirely clear about the color I would paint it, I tried and tried several shades of blue that none I liked, until I went for the red tones and came to this strong red I decided to use for the base of the cape, then with the hair I did not complicate much and decided to mix several shades of gray because in the end it is an old wizard.

El cómo estaría vestido el hechicero lo tenía claro desde el principio, desde que comencé a bocetar decidí pintar una especie de túnica o capa larga la cual cubriría todo su cuerpo, pero no tenia del todo claro el color del que la pintaría, probé y probé varios tonos de azul que ninguno me gusto, hasta que me fui por los tonos rojos y llegue a este rojo fuerte que decidí utilizar para la base de la capa, luego con el cabello no me complique mucho y decida mezclar varios tonos grises pues al final se trata de un hechicero anciano.

To finish all my work I went to paint the background, in this case the background would be the scenery where our sorcerer develops, once I was painting some small rocks was that I came to the idea of painting the kind of peak or top of the mountain from where you can see our sorcerer appreciating the night sky.

Para finalizar toda mi obra me fui a pintar el fondo, que en este caso el fondo seria el escenario donde se desenvuelve nuestro hechicero, una vez que fui pintando algunas pequeñas rocas fue que llegue a la idea de pintar la especie de pico o cima de la montaña desde donde se ve a nuestro hechicero apreciando el cielo nocturno.
