I had been a few days without ideas to draw, again. It was then when I thought about everything that is happening with COVID-19 worldwide and it came to my mind to make a drawing inspired by that.
Había estado unos días sin ideas para dibujar, nuevamente. Fue entonces cuando pensé en todo lo que esta pasando con el COVID-19 a nivel mundial y se me vino a la mente hacer un dibujo inspirándome en eso.

At first I knew I was going to do something inspired by COVID-19, but I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to do a drawing that was too dark, we know that this disease has taken a lot of people with it, so I didn't want to represent something so negative in it. That's what I meant by not making a drawing too dark.
Al principio sabia que iba a hacer algo inspirado en el COVID-19, pero no sabia que hacer. No quería hacer un dibujo que fuera muy oscuro, sabemos que esta enfermedad se ha llevado consigo a muchas personas, así que no quería representar algo tan negativo en el mismo. A eso me refería en no hacer un dibujo muy oscuro.

I spent a couple of days thinking about the idea for this drawing and in the end I decided to make a character with a mouth cover. What better representation, not so dark, of this disease, than to make a character with a mouth cover.
Estuve pensado un par de días muy bien la idea para este dibujo y al final me decidí en hacer un personaje con cubre bocas. Que mejor representación, que no sea tan oscura de esta enfermedad, que hacer un personaje con cubre bocas.

I was making the character little by little, what I did know was that it had to be a character with horns, I love making characters with horns, I think it's something that represents me. A drawing that is made by me and doesn't have horns or white pupils, is not my drawing.
Fui haciendo el personaje poco a poco, lo que si sabia era que tenia que ser un personaje con cuernos, amo hacer personajes con cuernos, creo que es algo que me representa. Un dibujo que sea hecho por mi y no tenga cuernos o las pupilas blancas, no es un dibujo mío.

Once I had the sketch completely done, I started to play with the paint, seeing what color palette to use. I had thought of making the character with a wooden pial or to make the illusion of wood, so the palette I used to paint the whole drawing was warm, well, I only used brown and black and a little bit of white.
Una vez que tuve el boceto totalmente hecho, comencé a jugar con la pintura, viendo que paleta de color usar. Había pensado en hacer el personaje con la pial de madera o que hiciera ilusión a la madera, entonces la paleta que use para pintar todo el dibujo fue cálida, bueno, únicamente use marrón y negro y un poco de blanco.

At the end, he was giving details with black color, to make shadows and white to make shines in the whole drawing and that was it.
Al final fue dando detalles con color negro, para hacer sombras y blanco para hacer brillos en todo el dibujo y listo.
