Hoy compartiré mi entrada al concurso de arte de la comunidad #splinterlands, en mi participación hice un fan-art de uno de los personajes, elegí al defensor de la verdad porque me gustó el diseño del personaje y además soy fanático de las armaduras, en el tiempo que llevo en la plataforma no me había unido a ningún reto y me complace decir presente a este concurso, de ahora en más pienso formar parte de más concursos.
Today I will share my entry to the #splinterlands community art contest, in my participation I made a fan-art of one of the characters, I chose the defender of truth because I liked the design of the character and I am also a fan of the armors, in the time I have been on the platform I had not joined any challenge and I am pleased to say present to this contest, from now on I plan to be part of more contests.
Procedimiento: / Procedure:
Para comenzar, dibujo el personaje con trazos a mano alzada buscando la forma, y tratar de darle una pose dinámica.
To begin, I draw the character with freehand strokes looking for the shape, and try to give it a dynamic pose.
Teniendo definido el boceto, en otra capa defino las líneas, coloreo la armadura de metal y trato de darle el brillo característico, prosigo con la capa y el resto de la vestimenta.
Having defined the sketch, in another layer I define the lines, color the metal armor and try to give it the characteristic shine, I continue with the cape and the rest of the clothing.
A continuación coloreo el cabello y el rostro del personaje, luego hago detalles en su ropa y armadura y hago una tipografía en japonés con el nombre del personaje, para finalizar añado un fondo y algunas luces, el logo de splinterlands y así terminaría el dibujo.
Next I color the hair and the face of the character, then I make details in his clothes and armor and I make a typography in Japanese with the name of the character, to finish I add a background and some lights, the splinterlands logo and so I would finish the drawing.

Oh wow, this is soooooo much better than the original Defender of Truth artwork. Looks like a true Japanese manga! I really love the style and coloring. Could you make this available without the background and text? When the Splinterlands fanart skin shop comes out, I would love to buy this illustration.
