Challenge #mermay2021 @grisvisa. My entry "Demon" (ESP/ENG)

Hello loved ones.

I haven't stopped laughing with my work, it's so hard for me to do something evil, grotesque, dark and perverse, I failed in the attempt, I ended up drawing a tender little devil, I really tried.

I really enjoyed exploring other brushes and creating other textures, I applied them in the fire and in the background. It was what I had thought and that's how I had visualized it, I think it exceeded my expectation a little bit.

I suffered a lot with the hair, I spent hours on it, trying to improve it, I wanted to invent something new to make it more realistic but it ended up looking very ugly, I couldn't find a way to repair it, thank God for the miraculous airbrush, with it I covered details and many imperfections.

I also wasn't sure about the color palette I would use, at first I wanted the mermaid to be all red but when I painted the fire behind it, it got lost. After I placed the water bubbles I laughed at the funny way of involving the water in the bottom of the sea.

No he dejado de reírme con mi obra, me cuesta tanto hacer algo malvado, grotesco, oscuro y perverso, he fallado en el intento, terminé dibujando una diablita tierna, de verdad lo intenté.

Disfruté mucho explorar otros pinceles y crear otras texturas, las apliqué en el fuego y en el fondo. Era lo que había pensado y así era como lo había visualizado, creo que superó un poco mi expectativa.

Sufrí mucho con el cabello, pase horas en él, tratando de mejorarlo, pues quise inventar algo nuevo para hacerlo más realista pero terminó viéndose muy feo, no encontraba cómo repararlo, gracias a Dios que existe el milagroso pincel aerógrafo, con él cubrí detalles y muchas imperfecciones.

Tampoco estuve segura de la paleta de colores que emplearía, al principio quería que la sirena fuera toda roja pero cuando pinté el fuego detrás se perdía. Luego que coloqué las burbujas del agua me reí de la forma curiosa de involucrar el agua en el fondo del mar.
