[Esp-Eng] ♻♻
Hello dear Hivers, I am Katty and to participate in the #build-it community weekly contest, I bring you a tutorial to make a practical book or magazine organizer using a cereal box. This organizer is very simple to make and you can do it with the materials you have at home. It is an excellent option to recycle cardboard boxes giving them a more practical and decorative use.
Materiales | Materials |
---|---|
Caja de cereal | Cereal box |
Papel de regalo | Gift Wrap |
Hojas de colores | Color paper |
Pegamento | Glue |
Tijeras | Sicssors |
Pintura al frio | Paint |
Proceso | Process |
---|---|
| The first thing I did was disassemble the box so I could turn it over and use the cardboard colored side, it is not an essential step, but I preferred to work it this way. |
| Then I cut out the top of the box, just enough for the books to show through. |
| Then I lined the box with sheets of green paper. |
| I used a nice wrapping paper to finish lining the box and give it a more feminine touch. |
Decoré con unos puntitos de pintura blanca. | I decorated with a few dots of white paint. |
This organizer can be made bigger if we use several boxes and glue them together. We can also use appliqués or cover it with fabric or other material. The idea is to customize the organizer according to the space where we are going to place it and the use that we are going to give it.
I hope you like this simple project and are encouraged to do it. Thanks for reading and it will be until a next post. Greetings and blessings!
