Halloween hivers fever continues, a couple of days ago my nephews asked me to make them some crafts about this celebration, and I thought it would be perfect to make them some masks; for them it would be like a little disguise.
For my nephew I created a small bat in black and blue, his expression when he sees it is the best of all this realization he affirms that it is a batman mask, to my coquettish niece I made a catrina mask in white, red and sky blue colors; as you can see in the photo his smile says that he liked it very much. I love doing crafts, it is a relaxing activity in my opinion, but I like it even more when my creations make other people happy.

Materiales: || Materials:

Plantillas para los antifaces (murciélago, antifaz de catrina, ojos y nariz). Goma eva en color negro. Cartulina blanca. 4 tiras de tela, 2 blancas y 2 negras. Pegamento, tijeras, lapicero negro, marcador, pintura color azul cielo y azul oscuro.

Stencils for masks (bat, catrine mask, eyes and nose). Rubber eva in black color. White cardboard. 4 strips of cloth, 2 white and 2 black. Glue, scissors, black pencil, marker, light blue and dark blue paint.

Paso a paso: || Step by step:

◾️ Inicié con el antifaz de mi sobrino, puesto que era el que menos pasos necesitaba para su realización, primero hice un patrón con la silueta de un murciélago, luego lo plasmé en goma eva negra y procedí a recortar incluyendo los agujeros para los ojos, el siguiente paso fue pintar el contorno del antifaces en color azul claro, luego recorté en papel 2 colmillos pequeños, y tomé dos piedras decorativas para usar como ojos y los pegué al murciélago, para finalizar en la parte trasera pegué las 2 tiras negras.

◾️ I started with the mask of my nephew, since it was the one that needed less steps for its realization, first I made a pattern with the silhouette of a bat, then I shaped it into black eva rubber and proceeded to cut out including the holes for the eyes, the next step was to paint the contour of the mask in light blue, then I cut out on paper 2 small fangs, and took two decorative stones to use as eyes and pasted them to the bat, to finish in the back I pasted the 2 black strips.

◾️ Dejé secando el primer antifaz y continué con el de mi sobrina, tomé el patrón de catrina y lo plasmé en el cartulina, también tracé el patrón de los ojos en goma eva roja y la nariz en goma eva negra, procedí a recortar todo incluyendo los ojos, al recortar el contorno de ojos en goma eva roja inicié con la decoración que realicé con un marcador negro, luego los pegué en el antifaz, lo siguiente fue pegar la nariz y realizar trazos con el lapicero negro, añadí unos puntos en tono azul y finalmente pegué en la parte trasera las tiras blancas de tela.

◾️ I left the first mask dry and continued with my niece's, I took the catrine pattern and printed it on the cardboard, I also traced the pattern of the eyes in red eva rubber and the nose in black eva rubber, I proceeded to cut out everything including the eyes, When cutting the eye contour in red eva rubber I started with the decoration that I made with a black marker, then I pasted them in the mask, the next thing was to paste the nose and make strokes with the black pen, I added some points in blue and finally I pasted in the back the white strips of fabric.
