One of the things I usually do since I was a child is to admire the beauty of flowers and I learned to see their beauty from different perspectives, I appreciate them natural, artificial, drawn, printed, sculpted; whatever their presentation I always detail the flowers; today I wanted to make some beautiful and delicate flowers with recyclable material, and this time I will show you a simple way to make flowers with plastic bottles

Una de las cosas que suelo hacer desde niña es admirar la belleza de las flores y aprendí a ver su belleza desde diferentes perspectivas, las aprecio naturales, artificiales, dibujadas, estampadas, esculpidas; como sea su presentación siempre suelo detallar las flores; hoy quise elaborar unas bellísimas y delicadas flores con material reciclable, y en esta oportunidad te mostraré una manera sencilla de como elaborar flores con botellas de plástico

Transparent plastic bottles

Green plastic bottle

Step 1 // Paso 1

Make a mould of a flower of your choice with the white sheet and cut it out; I made two orchid moulds and we must also make sure that it is the right size to fit in the space of the plastic bottle

Hacer un molde de una flor que más te guste con la hoja blanca y recortar ; yo hice dos moldes de orquídeas también debemos verificar que sea de un tamaño adecuado para que nos alcance el espacio de la botella de plástico

Step 2 // Paso 2

We cut out the piece of plastic bottle and place the flower mould on it, using adhesive tape to hold the paper mould to the plastic so that we can cut out the flower more easily

Recortamos la pieza de botella de plástico y le colocamos el molde de la flor, nos ayudamos con tirro para sujetar el molde de papel al plástico y podamos recortar la flor más fácilmente

Step 3 // Paso 3

Once our flower is made of plastic, we proceed to embellish its edges and a lighter will help us, we will pass it around the edge of the petals very carefully, then we put glue and frosting all around the edges

Ya con nuestra flor hecha de plástico procedemos a embellecer sus bordes y nos ayudará un encendedor, lo pasaremos por todo el borde de los pétalos con mucho cuidado, luego por todos los bordes le colocamos pegamento y escarcha

Step 4 // Paso 4

To make some elegant and beautiful stems we must cut strips of green plastic with a measure of 3 cm wide, and we pass the edge of each green ribbon through the kitchen cooker very carefully, the plastic will soften and we will mould its curved and delicate shape with our hands; once the stems are ready we proceed to place the flower with its rhinestones, we obtain a beautiful floral arrangement made with waste material!

Para hacer unos elegantes y hermosos tallos debemos cortar tiras de plástico verde con una medida de 3 cm de ancho, y pasamos el borde de cada cinta verde por el fogón de la cocina con mucho cuidado, el plástico se ablandará y moldearemos su forma curva y delicada con nuestras manos; una vez listos los tallos procedemos a colocar la flor con su pedrería, ¡obtenemos un hermoso arreglo floral hecho con material de desecho!
