So without further ado let dive into the ocean of how I crafted this masterpiece.

MATERIALS USED

  • Blue Suede Leather Material
  • Polyurethane Soles
  • Brown Linning material
  • Gum
  • Marco material
  • Super Glue
  • XL Logo

HALF SHOE MAKING PROCESS

  • Just like every other crafting work and shoe making, i first getting the foot size of the person I'm making the footwear for, by placing her leg on a piece of paper and then cut out the shape of her leg.

  • Once the foot size as been actualise, this lead and make my cutting of the shoe upper and linning easier, because it'll aid me cutting according to the side of the measured foot.

  • The cutting and shaping, making of the insole and sole is the next process, and to achieve that, all I did was to placed the paper that captures the shape of her leg on the Marco material and the linning and then cut out the shape.

  • I started building and joining the upper of the shoes together, apply gum, sewing together, grinding with a grinder machine, and testing it in a shoe last.

  • Once the upper was achieved, I attach the XL Logo, and shape and fill the insole, and sole, then apply I gum on the back of each pieces and attach both together, after which I apply super gum on the edges and some other openings, so it can stick together firmly.

  • And here is how the half shoe looks in all it's glamour.

Because its really beautiful and I can't help but to express the words. To be honest, I wanted to make that kind of shoes also, though I don't have the proper equipments to make one for myself. Hoping to see more in your future posts.🥰

This is truly amazing work @vickoly! It’s mind blowing the process you go through to achieve these…you have an amazing skill. I can tell through your words and work that this is a passion of yours.

The bright colors of the shoes are a show stopper alone but then the design is just beautiful. I see you add the VL initials on your work…that represents vickoly I assume?

Keep up the great work and thank you for sharing such amazing craftsmanship here. It’s great to have you ~

Thanks so much for your kind words, compliment and admiration of my craft, I really appreciate and don't take it for granted at all.

I see you add the VL initials on your work…that represents vickoly I assume?

I never thought of it like that, cause I've been thinking of how to craft my own personalize logo, I actually brought this from the market, but it sure almost goes with my brand name.

Thanks once again, have a blessed day ahead.
