I don't think the neckband looks so bad? (all my neckbands look like that)
I would add sleeves, though, so it becomes a dropped shoulder sweater :)

Yeeees!!!! I also had the idea to add sleeves. Not sure if I should first try the original design (only sleeve ribbing) and if it does not look nice, then knit the longer sleeves... I notice I am thinking while writing š. Ok, so I decided I will knit one sleeve ribbing and decide afterwards if the slipover becomes a whole pullover :-D
And with the neckband... my friend Sylvi (and some people here who may hear to the name @muscara) knits so beautifully even and neat and in comparison my ribbing looked very wobbly and uneven, but you know me, I will not unravel :-DDDDD
(I remember an amazing rowan lace jacket of you and I think it also looked extremly precise and neat)
