Greetings to needle art lovers. Greetings of friendship to all sewing lovers around the world.

This is my first time in this community. I want to share how to make a mask from leftover cloth.

It's been a year since the world was infected with a deadly virus. Everywhere, maybe all countries in the world are feeling how this virus kills infected people. May Allah SWT provide guidance to experts to quickly find an antidote to this virus.

One way to avoid corona is to wear a mask. For this reason, in order to maintain our safety, let us all break the chain of transmission of this virus by keeping our distance, wearing a mask / covering of the mouth and nose, and maintaining cleanliness of the hand area.

Here I will share how to sew your own the mask. I happened to have some fabric left over from making clothe.

The materials that I have prepared are:

  1. Leftover cloth
  2. Scissors
  3. Yarn
  4. Sewing Machines

The first step:
The first thing to do is cut the fabric. I cut the fabric for a 20cm × 20cm masker. While the length of the rope is 220cmx4cm.

Second stage:
Then the cloth that has been cut is sewn.

Here's how to sew a masker.

  1. Sew the top and bottom of the masker.
  2. Make a fold
  3. Sew the laces together. Here, since I used fabric scraps, I have to tie 3 pieces together.
  4. Attach the strap. To make it easier for me to put on the masker, I will open one part to tie it, and the other part will hang around my neck. Before sewing the final thread, I pin the knob first to make sewing easier.
