Let's introduce Ariadne, my 7 years old daughter to HIVE!
Hello crafters all around Hive! Today I am going to introduce Ariadne, my 7 years old daughter to @hivepeople, since she is a very capable crafter!
She likes experimenting with everything!! She likes drawing so much and she uses her closet as a wall to demonstrate her works to the public!!
And since she draws every day, she is filling her closet again and again with new creations! Here you can see her recent wall of fame !
However, during quarantine, we spent so much time together that she felt the need of learning new techniques. She was eager to embroider something, so, I showed her how to embroider simple things with a needle and a thread..
She was so thrilled that she drew with her pencil a sun, a heart and the greek phrase "I love you" and then she embroidered them! I was so surprised that she learnt so quickly!
And after her first work, she found out that she can make gifts to her friends, as well, so she embroidered the following deign and she asked me if I can make the design a simple bag for her friend, Helen! When her friend received the gift, she immediately loved it and expressed her interest to embroider as well!
But my favourite moment of her was when she was given a paper with a squirrel by her teacher to draw. Ariadne thought that she can embroider it instead of drawing. I transfered the design to a fabric with a purpose of making a blouse dress afterwards! She chose the colous and she started to embroider!

And the blouse dress was ready along with a legging I saw for the occasion!
And since she was really glad about the outcome, she drew a design on her own and ordered me to make a top shirt with it.
So, I made her a top shirt with her embroidered design and she was thrilled!

Thank you !! I give her a wide variety of materials and she is doing her stuff all the time. Her other favourite hobby is to upcycle everything she finds, from a paper sheet till fabric scraps ..!
