WOnderful post and I really had to laugh (although I still have headaches) A freestyle voodoo doll :-DDD I am not sure what will happen if you put a pin into the first doll, better not try out. After reading about this first attempt I looked at the next photo and though “hmm, now she is making the Venus from Willendorf only without the huge breast” only to read that the beige amigurumi was an inspiration for a smaller doll version... perhaps I also should not read while having headaches, I read and see strange things :-DDDDDD
Your final version is adorable and I especially love the hairstyle and that you let the face “open” meaning without a set facial expression. I find such face very cute and imagine them versatile for children to play with.
Hope you feel a lot better. I find drinking lots of water helps ease headaches. And yes, rest your eyes too.
I figured an expressionless doll ahould be good for storytelling time. My daughter loves telling stories and I was hoping she could practice describing emotions through this.
I don't think I should try putting a pin on it but I thought of using it as a pin cushion, too. I thinknthat would be cool but disturbing at the same time so nah, I'll just keep it so I can creep my lil sister out when she visits here. Lol!
