NEEDLEWORKMONDAY: RECYCLING by @jurich60

Re-purposing and recycling is always a good thing to reduce waste. @jurich60 has been keeping these air freshener holders for 7 months because she knew she would find some use for them and she did! Her creative juices flowed one day while she was cleaning and boy, did she beautify these plain holders to be something else! What do you reckon them to be? Head on over to her post to find out!

Making a Hoodie out of an Old Fleece Blanket by @cassidydawn

Transforming an old fleece blanket into a hoodie? What an awesome idea! @cassidydawn shares a step by step tutorial on how to achieve that. It may sound daunting but she breaks it down for us, that it makes it all doable. You achieve comfort and warmth plus a good sense of satisfaction of turning something old new!

Beautiful Crochet-Decorated Panties by @xeliram

Children grow up fast and most times, the clothes that no longer fit are still brand new. @xeliram decided to repurpose her growing daughter's jeans into an overall. She shared the steps and best of all, she showed how she added a cute crocheted Minnie Mouse motif right at the center of the garment. Simply adorable, from a jeans that no longer fits into an overall that her daughter wants to wear all the time!

I do not know if that would qualify as needlework, but I would love to read a post about how to maintain my sewing machine to see if I am doing anything wrong.

Of course you can! The sewing machine has a needle or two :) I wrote about mine getting jammed up a few weeks ago.
Oh and remember to add either needleworkmonday (if posted on Monday) or needlework (if posted on other days) tag to your post even if you are posting from the community. The NeedleWorkMonday community posting does not automatically add the tag.
