We are so excited to bring to you another round of quality posts shared by our needlework enthusiasts on Monday.

This is a weekly curation showcasing the needlework of our very own HIVEians. Every Monday we get together to share our love and passion for the needle arts, posting from the NeedleWorkMonday community and using the #needleworkmonday tag. On all other days we use the #needlework tag.
We enjoy each other’s creations, ideas, patterns, tips and shortcuts.

We strive to bring to you great quality work filled with tutorials and inspiration. Please help us keep these wonderful needle arts alive and thriving by supporting our creative work and community!

Roses in the shape of a star - Embroidery in ribbon or satin by @carolinacardoza

Have you wondered how these lovely flowering embroidery motives are made? Here comes a tutorial showing what's needed and a step by step explanation. It makes it look easy and tempts us to start such a project ourselves.

Recycling an umbrella fabric by @lauramica

grafik.png

We all love making new things and especially upcycling, where we use old or unneeded objects as raw material. @lauramica made a bag out of something none of had previously thought about: the fabric of a broken umbrella. Doesn't that put ideas in your head? Perhaps a foldable shopping bag out of this thin but durable fabric...

My first attempt at darts + time lapse of finishing a bias edge blouse by @springworth

Click for time-lapse

Often projects take some time, especially when we are not sure if our skills are sufficient. When @springworth started working on this UFO (=unfinished object) again, she decided to make a time-lapse video - watch and enjoy!
