Muy buenos días tengan todos en esta maravillosa comunidad @Needleworkmonday, seguimos animados compartiendo y aprendiendo en nuestros lunes de aguja. Este fin de semana me tocó colaborar con una amiga que tenía una actividad en la iglesia a la que asiste y necesita 3 franelas amarillas para unas niñas que realizarían una actividad especial.
Es una franela básica pero la querían con las lindas mangas bombachas o arruchadas, lo cual me obligó a realizar el patrón de este tipo de mangas. La tela con la que trabajé fue la Muselina, de esta tela hay dos tipos, uno mejor que otro, ya que una tiende a irse o rasgarse, cuando se estira mucho por las orillas, dejando una marca imborrable por lo que requiere cuidado cuando se trabaja con ella y la otra es de mucho mejor calidad ya que no presenta este aspecto en particular. Como la diferenciamos cuando la compramos? tocando la tela y estirando un poco en la orilla y si vemos que se agrieta, esa no es la buena jajaja. Dado este tips pasamos a mostrar el proceso llevado a cabo en estas lindas franelas.
Good morning to everyone in this wonderful community @Needleworkmonday, we continue to share and learn in our needlework Mondays. This weekend I had to collaborate with a friend who had an activity at the church she attends and needed 3 yellow flannels for some girls who would perform a special activity.
It is a basic flannel but they wanted it with cute puff sleeves, which forced me to make the pattern for this type of sleeves. The fabric I worked with was Muslin, there are two types of this fabric, one better than the other, since one tends to tear when stretched too much around the edges, leaving an indelible mark, so it requires care when working with it, and the other is of much better quality since it does not present this particular aspect. How do we differentiate it when we buy it? touching the fabric and stretching a little on the edge and if we see that it cracks, that is not the good one hahaha. Given these tips, let's show the process carried out in these nice flannels.
Con ayuda de una franela de medida corté una pieza delantera y una pieza trasera para la franela.
With the help of a flannel I cut a front piece and a back piece for the flannel.
Realicé el patrón de la manga bombacha, primeramente sacando el patrón base de manga de franela, esta la hice con ayuda de la franela de medida. Una vez tengo el patrón le hago un corte en la mitad desde la parte más alta de la sisa de manga hasta casi el final del ruedo de manga. Luego abro lo mas que puedo este corte y en otra hoja marco el nuevo patrón de la manga.
I made the pattern of the panties sleeve, first taking out the base pattern of the flannel sleeve, I made it with the help of the flannel. Once I have the pattern I make a cut in the middle from the highest part of the sleeve armhole to almost the end of the sleeve hem. Then I open as much as I can this cut and on another sheet I mark the new sleeve pattern.
LLevamos a la tela el patrón realizado y cortamos las dos mangas de la franela. también corté tiras para el cuello y borde de mangas.
We took the pattern to the fabric and cut out the two flannel sleeves. I also cut strips for the neck and sleeve edge.
Pasé a la máquina y uní por los hombros la franela para comenzar a armarla.
I went to the machine and joined the flannel by the shoulders to start assembling it.
Para realizar el arruche de las mangas pasé una costura floja donde quería que fuera el ruche y luego fui halando el hilo flojo y fui formando el ruche. Luego pase costura por toda la sisa para pegar la manga a la franela.
To make the ruching of the sleeves I sewed a loose seam where I wanted the ruching to be and then I pulled the thread loosely and formed the ruching. Then I sewed all around the armhole to attach the sleeve to the flannel.
Pasé costura por los costado. Hice ruedo, coloqué el borde en las magas y coloqué el cuello.
I sewed along the sides. I sewed the hem, placed the edge on the hems and placed the collar.
Les muestro así como ha quedado una franela básica de niña con unas mangas bombachas que lucen muy bien y hacen ver a las niñas super lindas.
