Hello dear needleworkers, I hope you are well. For today's post, I'm very excited to show you a beautiful summer dress that I made for Aranza, my nephew Adrián's favorite friend, on the occasion of her 4th birthday.

It is a fairly simple model but I really liked the end result.
So that the dress will not be so heavy, I decided to knit only the yoke, that is, the upper part. For the skirt I used cotton fabric so that it will be fresh and light, ideal for the hot summer that we are living here in Lima.

Hola queridos needleworkers, espero se encuentren bien. Para el post de hoy me emociona mucho mostrarles un lindo vestido de verano que elaboré para Aranza, la amiga favorita de mi sobrino Adrián, con motivo de su cumpleaños número 4.

Es un modelo bastante sencillo pero me gustó mucho el resultado final.
Para que el vestido no quedará tan pesado, decidí tejer solo el canesú, es decir, la parte superior. Para la falda utilicé tela de algodón para que quedará fresco y liviano, ideal para el verano tan caluroso que estamos viviendo acá en Lima.

To knit the yoke I used the same granny triangle pattern that I used to knit the TOPS .

Para tejer el canesú utilicé el mismo patrón de triángulo granny que usé para tejer los TOPS.

I added some suspenders and a lace on the edge.

Le agregué unos tirantes y una puntilla en el borde.

Then I sewed the fabric skirt to the top.

Luego le cosí la falda de tela, a la parte superior.

It is a super simple dress to make but for me it was a challenge since generally my mother is the one in charge of sewing, this time one of my sisters helped me. I also knit her a nice scarf for her hair, another time I will show you how I made itI was very pleased with the final product. And the little customers even happier.

Es un vestido super sencillo de hacer pero para mí fue un reto ya que generalmente mi mamá es quien se encarga de la costura, en esta ocasión me ayudó una de mis hermanas. También le tejí una linda pañoleta para su cabello, en otra oportunidad les mostraré como la elaboré. Me sentí muy complacida con el producto final. Y los pequeños clientes aún más felices.

Hola Katty, es que el tejido realza cualquier creación. Ha quedado muy bonito, es hilos tiene una gama matizada preciosa, y hace juego perfecto con la tela. La niña se ve más contenta
