The Towels are Finished

I finally finished the set of towels that I have been embroidering on my sewing machine. I learned a lot in the process. I learned that I have to pay attention to where I start to embroider on each towel so that there will be a consistent look. I also learned to pay attention to the amount of thread on my bobbin which tends to run out after a short while when working with large letters.

I decided to only sew on one letter instead of two or three. I am pleased with the results and I believe that the gift will be appreciated. It is always nice to get a personalized gift.

I asked several of my sisters which contrasting color I should use on the towels before I began. There was a consensus to use the vibrant purple on the gray towels.

The color in the pictures does not necessarily match with the real color without some photo editing. My next project with this machine as it relates to embroidery will be to personalize some beach bags and smaller bags that I purchased from Hobby Lobby at a reduced price.

I have to make it to the post office this morning when they open so that I won’t have to stand in a long line of people.

Enjoy your day.

The embroidery looks great! It's awesome that you get so much use out of a machine that was hibernating for so long :)

I know! I never would have taken the time to explore my machine's capabilities if I were not stuck at home.
