Saludos a los amantes de las agujas! Me complace participar en el reto de mi amiga @irenenavarroart donde naos invita a compartir diariamente durante la víspera de Halloween un proyecto de costura. Para esta oportunidad me gustaría elaborar un móvil de figuritas country. Presentaré uno diario y al final de la semana tendré el móvil listo.

Greetings to all needle lovers! I am pleased to participate in the challenge of my friend @irenenavarroart where naos invites you to share daily during the Halloween eve a sewing project. For this opportunity I would like to elaborate a country figurine mobile. I will submit one daily and by the end of the week I will have the mobile ready.

Día 1: Calabaza country

Para esta figurita utilicé fieltro color anaranjado. Hilo color negro y aguja gruesa. Relleno.

Day 1: Country pumpkin

For this figurine I used orange felt. Black thread and thick needle. Filling.

Corté a mano libre, es decir sin ningún molde, la figura de una calabaza. Corte 2 piezas.

I cut by hand, i.e. without any mold, the figure of a pumpkin. Cut 2 pieces.

Uní con hilo negro doble y una costura visible las 2 piezas y la rellené.

I joined with double black thread and a visible seam the 2 pieces and stuffed it.

Para la nariz, boca y ojos, utilicé hilo negro, buscando hacer una expresión característica de los trabajos de la técnica country.

For the nose, mouth and eyes, I used black thread, trying to make a characteristic expression of the country technique works.

Notas Para apegarme más a la técnica country, difuminé con pintura para tela los bordes en color naranja y las mejillas en rojo.

Notes To stick more closely to the country technique, I blurred with fabric paint the edges in orange and the cheeks in red.
