Hola queridos a amigos de esta comunidad hoy les presentare un hermoso y sencillo vestido que le hice a mi hija a partir de dos camisas, una de ellas me costó hace poco 0.50$ y la otra tiene ya mucho tiempo conmigo y a ambas les daré otra vida útil.

Manos a la Obra./Let's do it.
Antes de comenzar tendremos que desarmar nuestras camisas, le quitamos las mangas, el cuello y el bolsillo.
Before starting we will have to disassemble our shirts, we remove the sleeves, the neck and the pocket.
Luego tome la parte trasera de la camisa a cuadros y corte la forma para la parte baja de la falda.
Then take the back of the plaid shirt and cut the shape for the bottom of the skirt.
Hice lo mismo con la farte frontal de la camisa. Termine con dos piezas iguales que son las que formaran la falda de nuestro vestido.
I did the same with the front of the shirt. Finish with two equal pieces that will form the skirt of our dress.
Yo tome como patrón para la parte superior del vestido una camisa de mi hija. La coloque sobre la tela azul claro y procedí a cortarlo.
I took my daughter's shirt as a pattern for the top of the dress. I placed it on the light blue fabric and proceeded to cut it
Con la orilla de las mangas que despegamos anteriormente hare la botonera de la parte superior del vestido.(Olvide decirles que la una de las dos piezas que corte anteriormente para la parte superior del vestido hay que cortarla a la mitad, lo que nos servirá para los botones.)
With the edge of the sleeves that we took off previously, I will make the button panel for the upper part of the dress. (Forget to tell them that the one of the two pieces that I cut previously for the upper part of the dress must be cut in half, which will do for buttons.)
Procedemos a unir la parte frontal y trasera de nuestra pieza superior del vestido. Cosemos por los laterales y los hombros.
We proceed to join the front and back of our top piece of the dress. We sew on the sides and shoulders.
Con los retazos que me sobraron corte tiras de tela.
With the scraps that were left over, I cut strips of fabric.
Las tiras las utilicé para hacer el borde del cuello de la camisa.
I used the strips to make the edge of the collar of the shirt.
Con la parte superior casi lista procedí a armar el vestido juntándola con la falda.
With the top almost ready, I proceeded to assemble the dress joining it with the skirt.
Solo me quedo hacer un dobles en la sisas de las mangas a manera de borde y quedo listo el vestido para mi hija.
I only have to double in the armholes of the sleeves as an edge and the dress is ready for my daughter.
