Almost all last week at home we were without internet or telephone, so I was almost cut off from the outside world, fortunately on Saturday the technician came and was able to solve the problem; So today I can share with you the elaboration of some coasters that I made for my neighbors with whom I usually have a snack.
Casi toda la semana pasada en casa estuvimos sin internet, ni teléfono, así que estuve casi incomunicada con el mundo exterior, afortunadamente el sábado vino el técnico y pudo resolver el problema; así hoy puedo compartir con ustedes la elaboración de unos posavasos que hice para mis vecinas con las suelo merendar.

💝 To make the base of the coasters I took a CD as a measure, I thought the size was quite good for the project, so I cut out two circles for each coaster.
💝 Para hacer la base de los posavasos tomé como medida un cd, me pareció que el tamaño estaba bastante bien para el proyecto, así que recorté dos círculos para cada posavasos.
💝 Of course the coasters had to be decorated with hearts, so that they overflowed with love.
💝 Por supuesto que los posavasos tenían que ir decorados con corazones, para que se desbordaron de amor.
💝 After placing the interlining on each base and heart, I joined them with a tiny stitch.
💝 Luego de colocarle a cada base y corazón la entretela, los uní con una puntada chiquitica.
💝 I liked the idea that each coaster was different, just as each person is a universe and they have different ways of expressing love.
💝 Me gustó la idea de que cada posavaso fuera distinto, así como cada persona es un universo y tienen diferentes formas de expresar el amor.
💝 Then I sat down for a while to cut the edges, with zigzag scissors this type of work is very nice, it is one of the tools that I have wanted to give myself for a while, it is somewhat expensive, but it is still on my wish list for this year.
💝 Luego me senté un rato a cortar los bordes, con una tijera de zigzag este tipo de trabajo queda muy bonito, es una de las herramientas que me quiero regalar desde hace un tiempo es algo costosa, pero igual está en mi lista de deseos para este año.
💝 To make them look as nice as possible, I ironed them and made a small seam with red thread all around them.
💝 Para que quedaran lo más lindo posible los planché y, les hice una pequeña costura con hilo rojo por todo el contorno.

Que bellos te han quedado, me encantan estos proyectos en donde se combinan formas y colores, y entre ellos hay armonía, los cuatro posavasos son distintos con una armonía perfecta entre ellos.
Imagino el trabajo de los bordes, se ve que complejo para lograr ese resultado tan prolijo. Ojalá puedas comprar esa herramienta que apoye el desarrollo de tu trabajo.
