Inside a Pumpkin Flower at our Terrace Garden.

Pumpkin is always in demand, who could not miss those, during Halloween. Clumpsy, scary and haunted look of Pumpkin.

But Pumpkin are not to so bad always, they have a long tail of tale before it get into those big Boulder looks. It began with a flower and then a budding fruit underneath it. This season we have our first pumpkin flower blooming in our small terrace garden.

Not only a flower, it has a small budding fruit already taking a shape. The nice looking flower is too attractive. Especially the little pollen inside the yellow petals.

Lots of black ants already try to get the whatever nectar they can collect. I think so, as there is nothing else to collect from those beautifully grown pollen inside the budding flower.

What more surprising is that during early morning time, the flower flows and blossom fully. It has agood attractive yellowish look.

By the time the day comes to an end, the blossoming flower started to get dry. It loss all the charm.

Even after the dull look, the beauty of the pumpkin remain intact, till it get into a bigger fruit. A vegetable that we love too cook. What most important is that we get to taste some home grown food of our own.
