Attack of the Skunks - A Stinky Encounter

This is what happens when you take walks at sunset. A whole family of skunks decided to wak right under our legs. Fortunately none of them decided to spray us, though one did stop to sniff my fiance's shoes. @dreemsteem seemed to have a psychic premonition about this happening lol.

We used to have a dog that loved eating skunks, it was terrible. Then he would drag the smell everywhere. He seemed to like the smell. Most skunks I've seen never really cared I was there but introduce a dog into the equation and there is trouble.

who knows - maybe those stink bags smell so gross cuz they taste so delicious? so they spray to keep everyone away from their tastiness hahahahahahahaha
He was a weird and difficult dog, most other dogs learn their lesson the first time they get sprayed. He was half chow half retriever a strange mix. I suspect he got his determinations and stubbornness from the chow side.

Too bad we couldn't just pet one of them, they know they have the power of stink so they could march right by the humans.

We don't have skunks here so I'm lucky enough not to have smelt one. They look adorable. That story about your dog sounds disgusting, hilarious, but disgusting.
Oh yeah he did that ritual about 5 times. Other than their horrible stench the little critters have no defenses so a dog can bite into them like a chew toy if they can get past the smell.
