Beautiful captures of the "Yellow Presba" dragonfly! To bad you couldn't catch them in flight but it was quite something to catch them mating!
Interesting fact that the dragonflies live most of their lives in water as nymphs - learn something new every day!

Thank you and they are fascinating creatures my friend.
What I will do at the next sighting, is that I will set the camera on "Sport" and wait for them to fly.
Yes, 7 years as nymphs in the water and 6 months of adult life doesn't sound like a bargain to me.
But then, they lay many eggs, meaning many nymphs available as feed for fish and other water creatures.
Nature is so intricate!
