Some unusual beauties!

723.JPG

The new moon is slowly growing and the clouds were trying to hide it.

These are all snippets of clouds today that had some meaning to me. The weatherman was wrong, as the wind has not shifted enough towards the north to bring the expected rain.
Hopefully the wind will start shifting overnight and tomorrow, we might wake up to a wet day.
For now, this is what I have thus far.

Look at the hand that is trying to catch the falling clouds.

This one suspiciously looks like a flying shark.
700.JPG

That cloud looks like a dog that was happy to see his owner.
653.JPG

Nah, you will have to tell me what you see here?
770.JPG

To finish off, just a great mountain scene.

I am happy whenever I hear that a storm is expected, as I can spend hours watching the first advancing clouds appear. Normally there are strong high winds flying in opposite directions and they roll and shape the clouds into all types of weird shapes. So sunrise, or sunset are the best times to get the clouds as they are vey colorful.
And of course one has to have an imagination hahaha.

And That's All Friends!

I can see the hand and the shark, but the dog looks more like a big bird to me and I can see the hand of a two-fingered giant grabbing for me 😀

!BEER and !WINE - both make a nice dinner with !PIZZA :)

Ah okay that's good enough, but when I looked at the two fingered cloud, there was a third small finger moving forwards behind the two fingers and I was scared that the cloud was going to show me a zap sign 🤣

So I immediately looked away and didn't take any more photos of that rude cloud 🤣

Btw. What kind of bird do you think that you saw? A Turkey, or an Ostrich?
They are both champion flyers 🤣

Cheers and thanks.

Haha, we call it nicely the "Stinkefinger" and maybe the giant only wanted to make some fun by scaring you 😉

Hm, I see the head with the beak and the wings, but I could tell what kind of bird it is 😂

!BEER and !PIZZA - nice 😃

"Stink" means "Vrot" in Afrikaans here, as they use both words. In English stink means a bad smell.

So to me "Stinkefinger" means that one's finger slipped through the toilet paper while wiping one's foundation 🤣

But yeah, I get it as you know what a Zap sign is. Marian wants to faint if I want to show somebody that, but thankfully I haven't used the Zap sign now for many years.
I just stick my middle finger straight up (to adjust my glasses) 🤣
Then I discover that I left my glasses at home 🤣🤣🤣

Cheers and thanks.

Good evening Zac,

that's correct, stink means bad smell in German too and your explanation of Stinkefinger is great 🤣

I use the middlefinger quite often, not only to adjust my glasses 😉

!PIZZA and !BEER - sounds like a nice dinner :)

Hahaha, my wife has a fit every rare time that I attempt a rude gesture, so now I have a new habit.
We were walking in the shopping mall and a rude old lady was staring very intently at me and my young wife, so I stuck my tongue out like a horse for her to inspect my health. (Like they do with horses)

The look of sheer shock on her face was priceless 🤣

So no, I don't adjust my non existent glasses any more with any fingers and there is peace in the house 😉

I think that you should also try the tongue thing as nobody would expect a police officer to stick his tongue out. It works guaranteed 😜

Cheers and thanks.

Hahaha, I would love to have seen the old ladies face 🤣🤣🤣
When my daughter and I have a little argument I show her my middlefinger and she shows me hers, and when the argument is bigger she shows me her tongue and I show her mine ... and then we smile and are friends again 😜

Sheer shock on her face my friend. I think that even today she is still telling her friends about it.

Strange people you are indeed as you seem to communicate with rude gestures.
If I had to dare to give my mom the finger, she would take it and break it off and then she would beat me up for giving her the finger. She would also rip my tongue out.

Imagine ending up in hospital and I am toungeless, so I cannot explain to them what happened to my missing middle finger 🤣🤣🤣

After treatment we will be friends again.

Cheers and thanks.

Times have changed, my friend, if I had shown my mother the finger she might have done the same as yours 🤣

Well, I wonder what you would have had to tell them what has happened to your middle finger 😉

Times have certainly changed and "the times they are a changing" I think it's a Dylan song?

Wha hahaha, thankfully I would not have a tonguy to explai it, but I think that it would have been some explanation that I lost it in a rugby game 🤣🤣🤣

Cheers and thanks.

Yep, it's a Dylan song

I don't need any further explanation about how you lost your tongue 🤣
