Finding rest for the soul in nature.

So I had to lay on a hospital bed yesterday for an hour in a room.
028.jpg

Lay still? Me? A definate no and I took this shot above of a painting in the room.

The bed was in the doctor's rooms as I had a Ferratin transfer and the doctor (who is a friend) told me that he had this painting from his child years. There was an indellible artist signature on it, but it was beautiful.
So after the Ferratin thing I felt disturbed and my head was woozy.
The doctor told me to go home and rest, but I decided to rather take a short slow walk in nature to ease my tension.
Here was the result.

Nature welcomed us, as my wife was with me through the procedure as always.
Now have a look at that patch of yellowish rocks next to the river at the left.
050.jpg

A Guinea Fowl couple passed over the rock bank, this is true nature.
054.jpg

Then we had to leave after the walk and I felt a deep peace in my heart.
034.jpg

Back home Robbie the Robin was my message to go and rest for a few minutes.

Thankfully I was still able to get all of my work done yesterday and it's just my way of going through life.

So, I have shared a piece of my life with you in the hope that it will help you to face your own problems. I have had a dreadful earlier life that entails some shocking incidences and I have also been under the kinife many times, but nothing will get me to give up, as I still walk in positivity and kindness.

Everything around all of us is changing at a drastic pace and many times we feel so helpless, but there is always either a solution, or a way out. The road is long with many a winding road (A song by the Bee Gees), and it is so true, as behind every winding part is a trap to test us.

So, I bid you only happiness and kindness in your own struggles.

And That's All Friends.

Ps. No, the doctor won't sell the painting, so don't even ask me hahaha.

Thank you and no, we don't have Jaguars here, as they are in the Americas.

Love the artwork to distract you while laying around taking awful procedures, hope balance will resume now you done the treatment.

Getting out eases the stress, helps one forget the pain for a minute.

Little Robin sure looks so comfortable, now time for you to rest and take it a little easier, problems never go away, good health is a requirement to continue!

(Edited)

We are a bit worried about the awful procedures Lady Joan as my BP has now gone through the roof.
Wooly head with dull headaches, so it is going to take acouple of day for my body to get used of the new stuff.

Last night had about 3 hours of sleep, so I presume that tiredness also play a role here.
But we will see how it goes.

Yes, getting out has always been my reliever.

Rest? You, the doctor and many friends tell me to do things that I am not used to. But I try and it doesn't work too well.
Even the Robin gave me the same message hahaha.

yes you are right, everyone will experience the ups and downs of life, be humble when we are in the sky and don't feel alone when our path is steep, there are still many good people around us.

I am glad that everything went fine with the Ferratin transfer and you have had a nice walk afterwards my friend.
The Robin has showed you to have a rest and you listened to the bird, that's great, but I am sure today you are already the old restless Zac again and do whatever there's to do.

Have a wonderful Sunday, my friend 🌞

Good evening Hannes,

It seems that you know me very well, as now it's all systems go again and rest is for those that need rest 🤣

I will have ample time to rest when I die, but now I am alive and there is much to do 😜

The first two days after the treatment was a bit difficult, but I ignored it and just kept on doing my normal things, much slower, but still all done.
Just glad it's over and hope that I don't need a second one in 6 weeks time when they check the blood test readings.

Hope your Monday was good and waiting to hear the results of your talks today.

Cheers and thanks.

Good evening Zac,

I think I know you a little bit by now, my friend 😉
You're somehow like my father in law has been - he slept the hours he needed and the rest of the day he was searching for something to do, and there was always something to do.

I cross my fingers that the blood test in 6 weeks will be good 🤞

There was not much talking today but my work is going on ... till the next time, but for now it's all (almost) good.

Hi Hannes,

You think? I have been married now for almost 19 years and my wife still doesn't know me, but I forgive her, as she says I am her hero 🤣
But what women think and say are always different and so maybe she thinks I am the driver of her Pumpkin coach 🤣 (I think that this pumpkin coach thing has something to do with a childrens story).

So yes, O think that your father in law and me are similar in that way. Reason why we were up so late was that we had some trouble here in the complex and it's a long story. Some people were screaming and fighting and we had to restore the peace.

Thank you for the crossed fingers my friend 👍

A very cryptic answer about the work meeting outcome don't you think?
Not much talking to me means everyone said good morning and then continued with their normal jobs. or maybe the weather was also dicussed a little bit 🤣

Cheers and thanks.

Hi Zac,

women will never know you 😎 but as long as she says you are her hero I wouldn't mind 😉

Okay, that's a reason to stay up so long, but then I wouldn't be able to get up at 5, at least not if I have to go to work ;)

Yes, you are somehow right, but I said what I was thinking and why I have been angry. I then got my work place and was able to do my work in the other office. But it's only a matter of time till the next crash.

Hahaha, I am a very impulsive person and at times I can do strange things, but yes, if I am her hero then life is good. But then again she might think that I am the biggest klutz under the sun.
But that is also good as the sun shines on all of us 🤣

Remember that I used to work in construction many years ago and ay times we had to work double shifts, day and night, to meet the deadlines. Else the company would have had to pay penalties and our salaries would drop as a result.
So yes I was used to only 1 hour of sleep and only one meal per day.

Let's hope that the next crash rather decides to stay away my friend.
Anger is never good for one 😉

Cheers and thanks.

Just believe that she's honest when she says you are her hero 😎

One hour would be much too less - even during nightshifts I sleep longer 😉

The anger is gone for now and I will take care that it will stay that way.

Whatever it is, so be it Hannes 😉

Hahaha. So I know about your nightshift sleepings, and you are the only one that I know that gets paid for sleeping at work.

I am glad and I know that you will if you say you will control the anger.

Cheers and thanks.

Thank you kindly @owasco and I like to keep things simple and straight foward.
But in saying this many readers can still get things wrong, so yes, the less complicated the better.
