Holy Flock! Part Two: The Return
A couple of days ago I made a post about a giant flock of birds I saw flying over my home. Well, yesterday I happened to look out my window and, to my surprise, saw an avian cloud heading my way. The flock had returned. Now flying in the opposite direction from which it had previously flown.
The first time, I was only able to get 47 seconds of footage. This time around, I was determined to film until the last of the flock flew by. I ended up with almost 6 minutes of video despite missing the beginning of this massive multitude. I would estimate that it took closer to seven minutes for this feathery fog to clear from the skies.
I have no idea where they went or where they are going. Last time they were travelling south-west. This time, as the flock seemed to keep shifting, it appeared to be headed east and north-east.
Once again, I feel sorry for anyone unfortunate enough to be standing underneath such a craptacular sight. I'm chuckling as I can't help but think about White Rain shampoo. 😂
I almost gave up filming after a few minutes. I kept thinking, how much longer can this go on? But, as I said earlier, I was determined to see the whole flock through. I was satisfied and relieved when the last of the birds finally flew out of view.
Wherever we are, we are surrounded by nature. It's always trying to communicate with us. Take time to notice. #NoticeNature. I Wanna Flock!
