Today I will tell you about a fruit called "Caimito". I have known it since I was a teenager, and later, my grandmother was in charge of planting it in the land at the back of my mother's house. I always looked forward to the harvest, because I was the first one to climb the tree and enjoy the delicious nectar that comes from the "Caimito" when I taste it.
In the back of the house there is also a tree of the same species, the only difference between the two, is that the skin of the fruit is green and smaller, despite this, its pulp is equally sweet and juicy. In this post, I present a short review about the most relevant characteristics; scientific name, origin, parts of the tree, type of fruit, leaves, seeds and reproduction process. Also, I expose some benefits that the plant has for the benefit and healing of the human being. This was documented by reviewing several sources, listed at the end of the text. The photographs were taken on 20/04/2021. with the lens of an IPhone 6 phone, of my property.
Now I invite you to know and observe the photographic records of the "Caimito".
