Chelidonium majus - artistic edition
Today I share some images that I made of a flower called Chelidonium majus or commonly called greater celandine, it is a very striking plant with its bright green foliage and its beautiful yellow flower, I decided to apply an edition to give prominence to the striking flower.
It is a perennial plant that is to say that it blooms annually and is from the poppy family, it has green foliage and its leaves measure about four centimeters long, it has a beautiful yellow flower with four petals, its pistils are long and thick has curious villi that cover the back of the petals and the small buttons that are about to bloom.
This plant can measure up to 80 centimeters long and its foliage is dense, it was originally found in Europe but was introduced to North America by Europeans who used it topically despite its toxicity to get rid of warts on the skin, it could be administered orally but mixed with other plants should never be used for a long time or exceed the dose due to its toxicity.
