You can spot a mature Poison Ivy vine by the brown hair like feature all along the sides.. I am highly susceptible to getting it, so make it my business knowing all of it's characteristics...

Oh ... I often walk through such thickets. What a blessing that we don't have poison ivy!

Oh yeah they are tree-mendous lol Failed to mention you can get the rash from any part of the plant, anytime of the year..

Welcome Mike @manorvillemike. I only saw poison ivy as a three leaf plant and never encountered this hairy vine that also causes rashes in humans.

Yes, touching any part of the plant or vine could cause a rash.
