Hace poco realicé un viaje a la hermosa playa "el Yaque" ubicada en la isla de Margarita Venezuela, mientras estuve allí me dediqué a observar mi entorno y como la fuerza de los elementos naturales convergen y transforman el paisaje. Ese día en la mañana había llovido así que el mar no tenía ese azul brillante que lo caracteriza, sin embargo eso no impidió poder disfrutar de la naturaleza, además, debido a ese cambio climático noté alteraciones interesantes en el lugar, acá les comparto mi análisis de lo percibido.
Recently I made a trip to the beautiful beach "El Yaque" located on the island of Margarita Venezuela, while I was there I dedicated myself to observe my surroundings and how the force of the natural elements converge and transform the landscape. That day in the morning it had rained so the sea did not have that bright blue that characterizes it, however that did not prevent me from enjoying nature, in addition, due to this climate change I noticed interesting changes in the place, here I share my analysis of what I perceived.
El viento
The wind
Aunque no lo podemos ver, con su increíble fuerza es capaz de transformar su entorno a placer, peinado la arena y borrando las huellas dejadas por los visitantes, ó dibujando suaves siluetas en la arena. Es capaz de crear hermosas olas que acarician la orilla o darle la fuerza para arrastrarte con ella.
Although we cannot see it, with its incredible strength it is capable of transforming its environment at will, combing the sand and erasing the footprints left by visitors, or drawing soft silhouettes in the sand. It is able to create beautiful waves that caress the shore or give it the strength to drag you along with it.
El viento de esta playa en particular sirve de impulso para los deportistas que practican kitesurf, acá se han realizado competencias mundiales de dicho deporte debido a la fuerza del viento y sus bajas olas que crean las condiciones perfectas para impulsarse en el agua.
The wind of this particular beach serves as an impulse for kitesurfers. World kitesurfing competitions have been held here due to the strength of the wind and its low waves that create the perfect conditions to propel oneself through the water.

The sea
Cubre la mayor parte de nuestro planeta, alberga incontables criaturas marinas que aún están por ser descubiertas. Mientras nadaba y flotaba en el mar, logré sentir las corrientes de agua fría y caliente que esta traía desde quien sabe donde, a pesar de estar un poco turbia debido a la lluvia matutina de ese día, aún podía ver mis pies en el fondo del agua. La lluvia no logró dañar el humor del mar, algo que siempre he admirado de esta playa. Lo que más amo de ella, es que en la noche su temperatura es tibia, llevándome a la relajación absoluta mientras estoy dentro del agua, es casi una experiencia espiritual.
Covering most of our planet, it is home to countless marine creatures yet to be discovered. As I swam and floated in the sea, I managed to feel the currents of cold and warm water that it brought from who knows where, despite being a little cloudy due to the morning rain that day, I could still see my feet at the bottom of the water. The rain did not manage to damage the mood of the sea, something I have always admired about this beach. What I love most about it is that at night its temperature is warm, leading me to absolute relaxation while I am in the water, it is almost a spiritual experience.
Sirve de amortiguador para las caídas de los deportistas. Se puede sentir como si se pudiera volar al flotar en el mar, al sumergirte te olvidas de todo y sales como nuevo, con un gozo indescriptible, ese es el poder del mar, pero no hay que dejarse llevar tanto, ya que inicias bañándote en el punto A y sin darte cuánta, estás en el punto B a metros de dónde alcanzas a ver tus cosas, las olas en su va y ven te llevan lejos de donde entraste en un principio.
It serves as a shock absorber for the falls of athletes. You can feel as if you could fly when floating in the sea, when you submerge you forget everything and come out like new, with an indescribable joy, that is the power of the sea, but you should not get carried away so much, because you start bathing at point A and without realizing it, you are at point B meters away from where you can see your things, the waves in their coming and going take you away from where you entered in the beginning.

The sand
Cada grano es conformado por pequeños pedacitos de lo que alguna vez fue una concha de mar, cada vez que la veo no puedo dejar de admirarla, a la hora de jugar con ella la imaginación es el límite. Cada grano es distinto, tanto en color como en textura y forma, juntas hacen una gran playa, es lógico que sea utilizada como metáfora.
Each grain is made up of small pieces of what was once a seashell, every time I see it I can't stop admiring it, when it comes to playing with it, imagination is the limit. Each grain is different, both in color and in texture and shape, together they make a big beach, it is logical that it is used as a metaphor.
A esta playa vengo desde niña, así que la llevo observando durante años, debido a esto me animé a participar en este concurso con la temática de observación a largo plazo, a fin tuve una oportunidad para compartir los datos curiosos que llevo observando durante años. Describo varios elementos debido a que estos juntos conforman la esencia de algo y es lo que de por sí lo hace más hermoso.
I have been coming to this beach since I was a child, so I have been observing it for years, because of this I was encouraged to participate in this contest with the theme of long-term observation, in order to have an opportunity to share the curious facts that I have been observing for years. I describe several elements because together they make up the essence of something and that is what makes it more beautiful.
