Winter Pictures: A Snowy Day
Do you have a snow day, too?
I have noticed that winters have become less snowy. The winter months look more and more like the off-season: spring or fall. Swollen buds on trees and shrubs are common in December and January . Snow has become scarce and unexpected ...
Fallen snow usually melts quickly. Although it sometimes happens that it snows heavily. Every year is different.
It snowed overnight into the morning, but the snow started to melt in the afternoon. My husband and I went out for a walk and I took some shots. The sun was rushing over the horizon... Too bad it's getting dark early.
Red berries and barberry bushes under the snow.
Green bush leaves under the snow.
The graphic silhouettes of tree trunks and branches are particularly distinct.
It's getting dark fast, the streetlights are lit somewhere out there...
Enjoy!
