Looking at Nature in MonoChrome !!

Not everything looks great in black and white but if you happen to choose the right subjects black and white can look really amazing and more realistic so for this series of @amazingnature i decided on using some white flowers that i think personally make good subjects but of course i would love your feedback it would be appreciated and nice to know what you think.

Let's start of with this lovely Jasmine i called this the Propeller Jasmine maybe because it has those defined shapes of propellers and i was lucky enough to have photographed this Jasmine just as this little insect landed on the propeller.

There are around about 200 species of Jasmine flowers that grow in formations of shrubs or vines and belong to the Olive family. They love the tropical conditions but will grow fairly well in warm temperatures. Many people will grow these beautiful Jasmine flowers because of the lovely fragrance they give out around the garden.

The Spider Lily also referred to as the Beach Spider Lily is just a beautiful a very delicate and elegant, pristine white flower they can grow up to eight flowers on each flower stalk and are a great indoor plant because of them giving out a delightful fragrant.

The Giant Maidenhair Fern there delicate long sprawling leaves can grow up to 2 meters long like this one i found hanging of a tree placed in a basket they made a very tropical fresh look in any garden.

Water Lilies and the Sacred Lotus are got to be one of my favorite flowers they have so much beauty and history that dates back centuries but we won't go into all that but aside from being beautiful flower they also offer several benefits to ponds, lakes, and water features.

I need to throw in the color version of this Water Lily for you to appreciate the beauty of this flower.

The Frangipani flower another stunning flower comes in many colors and each one has it's own unique scent. It is said and known that the Frangipani flower is more fragrant at night in order to lure Sphinx Moths to pollinate them.

And this is just a lovely bouquet of Chrysanthemum flowers that i saw in a florist shop they make a beautiful gift on any occasion ❤️

So many beautiful flowers in such a small space! I do love the little jasmine, such a potent perfume for its diminutive size, no? It always surprises me. The frangipani, which we call plumeria here in the States is what Hawaii uses in their lei, the sweetness of the gesture is not lost on the flowers.

But, of course, nothing can beat the beauty, history, or the love given to the lotus. as it is an incredible piece of nature. And the color shot is awesome!

Thanks for tagging #alwaysaflower!

This is a really nice selection of various, rather unusual but still super beautiful, white flowers. I really love them in black and white. This gives such a great contrast. I really like the Propeller Jasmine, but the spider lily is a really nice one two ^^

These Jasmine flowers look beautiful - you have done a great job. The name Propeller Jasmine suits perfectly in my eyes 🙂 I love the wet Water Lily very much too 😁

Good afternoon my friend 😊

I want to do more black and white photos too, but I rarely think.

Such contrasty motifs like this "propeller" flower invite somehow for converting them into monochrome - well done, @kohsamui99 👍😁

Oh, it's good afternoon my friend 😁
I always forget it myself, but switching the camera to black& white mode shows the monochrome version right when you take the image. I think even many smartphones support that, but I am not sure. That way you can see immediately if the motif is good in monochrome.

To confusing so i will just say gooday mate as we Aussie's say in slang 😅

You are right i do think switching to black & white on a camera is easier then doing it on a smartphone but i would rather see the pictures in a bigger frame it gives me a better feel of the photo you know what i mean mate a bit more slang for you...hehe 😂

Have a great weekend ahead @johannpiber 😊

Gooday mate 😊

If I remember right, @tattoodjay said "gidday" but he's from New Zealand 😁

Yes, I know what you mean, that's why I mostly prefer to look through the viewfinder of my camera, because that way I can see the scene full frame 😀

I wish you also a great Friday and a wonderful weekend ahead, my friend 🌞

Who says flowers are beautiful only in colour?
Your photos show how beautiful they can be just in black and white.
