Amazing Nature Contest - February 2021 - #01
This week for #amazingnature , i like to show you some nature in black and white but it is never easy to choose what can look good and realistic to please the audience , i figured going with flowers , leaves , tree trunks and some sea shells , i couldn't go to wrong i hope and why i have chosen to go with these beauties of nature is because of the distinctive features they present , giving these subjects more stand out characteristics , well is the way they appear to me so here we go please let me know your feed back will be interesting to hear your opinions.
First up are a couple of my bigger sea shells that i have in my collection of shells around the garden and in the house , i took a liking to these on my many walks on the beaches , love the fan shape and the line work on these shells.
Autumn maple leaves i think they are beautiful in color and black and white.
Aged old tree trunks they are always so beautiful to look as there decomposing back into Earth creating all them nutrition's for the soil and insects and worms to feast on love when them beautifully oyster shaped fungus start growing of the sides of these tree trunks makes them even more appealing.
Cactuses my favorite little Alien succulent plants they come in so many distinctive shapes and sizes some blooming with the most , out of this world flowers making a great decorative plant for indoor or outdoors.
The Lotus and Lily aren't they just a beautiful couple as @dswigle said there's got to be flowers 😇

The black and white makes me focus more on the textures in the photos, and you've certainly got a range of textures going on here.

Photos look great in monochrome. The details really stand out. I always look for seashell when I’m walking the beach. That wouldn’t be for a few more months here. :)
Thank you @redheadpei i do love sea shells yep your sea shells would be all buried under snow at the moment at least they will be all nice and fresh when you get back walking on the beach 😆
