The jackfruit of our tree | Some stories about jackfruit on our trees

Jackfruit is the national fruit of Bangladesh. Jackfruit trees are found in most of the houses in the rural areas of Bangladesh and these trees produce good jackfruit fruits. We have a lot of jackfruit trees in our house. We have about 8 jackfruit trees in our house. Of which five jackfruit trees result in yield.

Each year these trees yield a large amount of jackfruit. These jackfruits are also quite large in size. We have two jackfruit trees that yield a lot of jackfruits. The jackfruits of all the trees are very tasty to eat and very sweet. When all the trees produce a lot of jackfruit, it is very nice to see this scene from a distance and it makes me happy.

But due to bad weather this year, the tree did not produce good jackfruit. Yields have been low since the beginning of this year due to prolonged drought. Not only us but many people's jackfruit tree around us have reduced the yield of jackfruit. Last year we had about 30+ jackfruits on a tree. But this time only one jackfruit came from that tree.

This year we have harvested jackfruit in only four jackfruit trees. Of these, three jackfruit trees have yielded one jackfruit each. And another tree has twenty-five plus jackfruit. But many of these jackfruits have been attacked by a kind of insect. As a result, the jackfruit is ruined and falls from the tree. Although I gave medicine to the jackfruits to protect them from this insect attack but this medicine did not work.

Anyway now is the jackfruit ripening season. Some of them suddenly fell from the jackfruit tree and the coyotes inside it are scattering. Something is rotting again. Due to which my father is plucking many jackfruit trees and ripening them in the heat of the sun.

But one of the surprises is that this year the jackfruit is eating a variety of small insects in the trees that have never seen such a scene. A kind of big wasp is eating the jackfruit cocoons by digging a hole in the jackfruit and we are not falling from the jackfruit tree for fear of that big wasp. After eating these jackfruits, only jackfruit seeds can be seen lying on the ground. Moreover, different types of birds are biting and eating them with their beaks.

Basically, jackfruits are very tasty and sweet to eat because they are eaten by different birds or insects. Yet some part of a jackfruit is hanging in the tree. The inside of the whole jackfruit is eaten by large wasps and a few birds. Now there are only some jackfruit skins and cobwebs hanging inside. Of course, we are not unhappy to eat insects or birds.

However, when it comes to the good yield of jackfruit, a really different kind of feeling of goodness is created in the mind. Because it fulfills the needs of our family, we can distribute it among our relatives and also enjoy eating various small insects or birds.
