As I mentioned in my post about the cycling trip to the Vistula River, I saw a beaver live. Now I will expand on the topic and tell you more about this meeting. Well, I was standing by the river, watching it flow, until at some point I saw there was some big animal in the water and thought it might be a beaver.

Jak już wspominałam w moim poście o wycieczce rowerowej nad Wisłę, zobaczyłam na żywo bobra. Teraz rozwinę temat i opowiem wam więcej o tym spotkaniu. Otóż, stałam nad rzeką, przyglądałam się jak płynie, aż w pewnym momencie dostrzegłam, że w wodzie jest jakiś duży zwierzak i pomyślałam, że to może być bóbr.

I have a camera with a huge zoom and when I took the first picture, I knew it was 100% beaver. The animal was swimming towards the shore.

Mam aparat z dużym przybliżeniem i jak zrobiłam pierwsze zdjęcie, wiedziałam już, że to na 100% bóbr. Zwierzak płynął w kierunku brzegu.

He went ashore for a moment. It was huge. He reminded me of the size of a large dog and had a long, thick coat. Unfortunately, after a while, the beaver noticed me and swam away.

Wyszedł na chwilę na brzeg. Był ogromny. Przypominał mi z wielkości dużego psa i miał długą, gęstą sierść. Niestety po chwili bóbr mnie zauważył i odpłynął.

But it was obvious that he wanted to be close to the shore, he swam towards the branches, which were many in one place. Perhaps thanks to the work of the beaver.

Miałam szczęście, że go spotkałam za dnia, bo bobry są zwierzętami nocnymi, a w dzień przeważnie śpią i wypoczywają.

However, it was a short meeting, the beaver quickly swam away to another place, maybe to its burrow ... But no matter - short or long. It was wonderful to be able to see the beaver live :)

Jednakże to było krótkie spotkanie, bóbr szybko odpłynął w inne miejsce, może do swojej nory... Ale nieważne - krótko, czy długo. To było cudowne móc zobaczyć bobra na żywo :)

When I was driving by the Vistula River, I saw a lot of trees that had been bitten by beavers. Some, so much so that they fell completely to the ground.

Gdy jeździłam nad Wisłą widziałam dużo drzew, które zostały pogryzione przez bobry. Niektóre, do tego stopnia, że upadły całkowicie na ziemię.

A few other boughs were still holding up, but it must have been a matter of time until the beavers bite them harder and also fell.
