Amazing nature: trees and flowers in my garden, ธรรมชาติต้นไม้และดอกไม้ในสวน

The rainy season has made the garden so green as all the trees are growing very fast with more branches and leaves. The orchids on the tree trunks seem to enjoy the wet weather and have blossomed at the same time. Walking around the garden gives me such a wonderful relaxing feeling and deep gratitude for the presence of all these trees and flowers.

This tree is called Jumpa in Thai; its formal name is Magnolia champaca. The fragrant yellow flowers are used in making garlands and we offer these yellow flowers to Buddha image in the shrine room. The natural curtain in the west makes it nice and cool in the afternoon. This area is reserved for occasional barbecue party with elderly villagers.

The drawback of heavy rain is the slippery dirt roads making it quite challenging for motorbikes riders. The grass and weeds also grow at exponential speed, luckily a villager comes to cut the grass for his four cows at home. But I am very tempted to borrow a small goat to eat all the weeds. My gardener is so afraid that one goat will up all the vegetables and bananas too.

The moss covered path just shows that the rain has been long and persistent. This path could turn very slippery sometimes! But the green emerald colour just soothes the eyes. The orchids are blossoming like crazy as if they were having an open air party in the wind.

I think that these trees and plants know something that I don’t know about the future. They know in advance that the future situation is going to get quite tensed and heavy, so they are preparing some kind of spiritual and natural support in time of need. They have known about the future a month in advance! I am surprised that Mother Nature could be very protective and kind; the trees in my garden become the channel for sending us the needed healing and comforting vibes.

ตอนนี้เรื่องที่ไม่ควรเกิดขึ้นในเมืองของชาวพุทธได้เกิดขึ้นแล้ว เราไม่คิดว่ามันจะรวดเร็วขนาดนี้ เราคิดว่าน่าจะเป็นปีหน้า แต่ชะตาชีวิตและลิขิตแห่งกรรมคงไม่มีใครไปขวางได้ เราโชคดีมากที่มีต้นไม้และดอกไม้ในสวนคอยให้พลังบวกกับจิตใจของเรา พลังดีๆและปกป้องของธรรมชาตินั้นมีอยู่จริง เราคิดว่าต้นไม้และกล้วยไม้ที่บ้านสวนพากันโตอย่างเร็วด่วน และกล้วยไม้ออกดอกมากมาย เพื่อมาช่วยทำให้เราสบายใจและผ่อนคลาย เหมือนรู้กันล่วงหน้าว่าจะมีเรื่องมากระทบความสงบใจในอนาคต ธรรมชาติใจดีมีเมตตากับเรามาก เวลาเดินเล่นในสวนและนั่งมองดูต้นไม้ดอกไม้ พลางดื่มกาแฟในตอนเช้า เรารู้ว่าต้นไม้ส่งพลังออกมาช่วยเกื้อหนุนสิ่งมีชีวิตต่างๆให้มีชีวิตรอดต่อไป เราโชคดีมากที่มีต้นไม้ป่ามาโตอยู่ในบ้านสวนหลายต้น

Looking at photos of my garden and writing about these beautiful trees and flowers have given me more energy and fighting spirit to live this day the best I could and enjoy the freedom life has to offer today.
