Just Autumn

P1420623_copia6.jpg

Scholars of Symbolism in general and of that mysterious and cryptic Art in particular, which is Alchemy, affirm that autumn, even with its transience, would come to represent the moment in which the artist or the alchemist, collects the fruit of his work.

A fruit that has gone through successive seasons or processes - dissolved in winter, cooked in spring and coagulated in summer - until it reaches the sublimation of the perfect.

Of course, I admit that I am not an expert in the noble Art of Alchemy, but I can let myself be carried away by the gaze of the spirit and recognize in the autumn, that beauty that even in its ephemeral existence, seems still much more genuine and supernatural.

Judge for yourself.

At its core, it is a wonderful symbolism. In the past, people were more observant and more in contact with Nature and its wisdom and from it they drew many and correct conclusions. Autumn prepares us for the recollection that awaits us in winter. But he always does it in his own way: spectacular.

They are water cypress trees and they look this spectacular in the fall, before they lose their leaves and go naked.
