Exploración fotográfica en el jardín #6 | Photographic exploration in the garden #6 [ESP/ENG]

This is the sixth installment of the series that I have entitled "photographic exploration of the garden", an activity that I find very pleasant because it allows me to maintain the photographic activity even without leaving home. In this opportunity the motive is not related to plants, in my garden also inhabit numerous animal species, most small insects, however, also come some other species. I share with you two photos of this small fauna.

lagarto1200n.jpg

The first photo corresponds to a type of lizard that I have not been able to identify. I have always known the green lizards, but these brown ones I had not seen before. When I saw them I thought they were chameleons, because they have a certain ability to camouflage, but I had my doubts because I see that the language of chameleons is different.

These lizards have become a real plague, they multiply very quickly. Right now their population is constantly increasing, I don't know which predator was keeping them under control, maybe it could have been the cats and they have decreased in the area. The small lizards feed on anything that moves, they can still eat crawling insects, butterflies and I have even seen them trying to hunt small birds. I don't like these little animals at all.

mariposa1200.jpg

The other picture is of a small white butterfly. There was a time when they were easily seen but now they are scarce. The day I took the shot they were on three different sides of the wall, as it had rained the wall still had traces of moisture, so the shot looked more attractive. The butterfly was very docile the whole time, it was not altered by my presence at all, even after I took the picture she remained there, calm, for a long time.

Abrazos.

Lovely shots of the lizard. It’s too bad they have become plentiful and eating so many other insects.

I'm glad you liked it. Yes, it's a problem that they reproduce so much, sometimes I get picked on because I see them everywhere. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

We do not have any lizards like this here in our gardens ^^ .. I would like to have some, but becoming a hungry everything consuming plague sounds not as good anymore ;) Thank you for posting this into AN .. I am going to forward you to the AN-OCD channel with this ^^

Where are you? This variety is also new for me, they arrived about three years ago, but they have an amazing capacity of reproduction. Thank you very much for promoting the post.
