Lycidae beetle

At first I thought they were wood termites!
In the morning today, I cleaned up some of the firewood piles that were around the back fence of the shop where I worked,
the wood is located behind the shop which is buried with some grass and
is a pile of damaged wood that is eaten by termites, this wood is often used as firewood.

Then at the bottom layer of wood, the wood is starting to be slightly covered with soil, I see the some small insects between the damaged wood with a red and black color which looks quite attractive.

The first glance made me interested in shots the insects in some macrophotography shots, then I took my macrophotography equipment and took some shots of that insects and you can see all the shots below.

In this area of ​​rotting wood, there are about 20 small insects, at first I thought that were wood termites because they live in groups around that rotting wood, but I noticed that from their shape they looked like beetles with great curiosity, finally I did a geogle search on that small insects.

The area of ​​the wood was clearly looking very damp and I also took some macrophotography shots of this little beetles that were in the vicinity of logs weathered..they're doing continuity activities of life.

This beetle has a size that is quite small so that in the process of taking this image I used extreme macro lens with the main camera smarphone.

After I did some macrophotography shots of the beetle, then I continued my activities in the area.
