Continúo presentando mi colección de escarabajo para cerrar con el tema. La diversidad de escarabajos es muy amplia, lo dije en la anterior publicación. Por esta razón no deberíamos sorprendernos cada vez que consigamos alguno con diferentes aspectos. No quiero abusar utilizando lenguaje técnico, posiblemente sería un abuso para los especialistas, prefiero narrar mi experiencia.

Escarabajo de las flores

Su color es bastante atractivo aunque, no es el único quien recibe este mismo nombre, son variadas las especies. Este escarabajo también lo encontré mal herido. Entre los meses de abril, mayo, junio y julio, es cuando los he visto con frecuencia. El verde metalizado de insecto también es variable hay quienes afirma que este escarabajo es capaz de cambiar su color verde por un marrón perlado. Pertenece a la tribu de los Cetónidos ya que viven a expensas de materia orgánica, no son amigos del hombre, mucho menos de quienes cultivan flores o plantas ornamentales porque acaba con ellas. Sienten gran atracción por las rosas y arbustos que florecen.

Esta otra especie fue encontrada dentro de la casa. Cuando publiqué sobre él, hubo interés por conocer más. Lo encontramos dentro de la casa. Cerca de donde vivo hay variada vegetación y personas que cultivan maíz, papa, yuca, plátano, cambures entre otras plantas ornamentales. También hay algunos animales que hacen vida en diferentes espacios. El insecto medía entre 4 a 5cm, bastante grande al decir verdad. Ese día de su aparición hacía mucho calor, el cielo estuvo nublado pero no llovió. Asimismo, como entró se fue y casi no nos da tiempo de tomar la fotografía. Hicimos varias capturas pero no quedaron buenas ningunas. No supe su nombre, por mucho que busqué no logré hallar un insecto parecido. @jacki01 en su comentario deja información relevante y desde allí inicié con otra búsqueda.

Sí, efectivamente pertenecen a la tribu Cetoniinae y buscan el polen y néctar de las flores o también de frutas. Son muchos los escarabajos con las mismas características y tiendo a creer que no siempre los encontraremos a todos iguales. La diversidad también está presente en el reino animal. Abejorro de Junio es otra manera de llamarlos.
