HELLO FRIENDS!

At the height of the Santa Cecilia interchange on the Francisco Fajardo highway is the emblematic Caracas Sphere, the work of the artist Jesús Soto in 1996. It is a structure 13 meters high and is made up of 1,800 aluminum rods. It has a lighting system to make it attractive at night.

This urban and artistic heritage was designed to contribute to the “Un affection for my city” plan. The Caracas Sphere is an icon of Venezuelan kineticism and the capital landscape, located so that the passerby can appreciate a 360º view of the genius of this renowned art.

When I was spending an afternoon on my way home from the bus, I took a picture with my Alcatel cell phone.
