I know they come into the urban places to look for food. My parents some winters put lard on the branches of the trees for the birds. They are so colourful and cute :)
they are very shy and fast and suspicios -- hard to shoot!
unless this lard is located intentionally not far from your own window, where you camp with camera, haha! I spend a hour trying to make some decent shots, but walked away with not so many. anyway, glad you like it! - cheers, and !WINE

Hahaha, yes, they are very fast. The cats usually look them through the window, knowing they can not catch them. Luckily :D
The ginger, Kiki, used to bring sparrows, pigeons, mice, lizards and unfortunately a few times some nice birds with a red tail.. I don't know the name of that bird...
