Venezuela explores satellite in connecting to Bitcoin node

Six days ago I shared a post on: Running Bitcoin node on a satellite powered system is now a reality, internet shut down still a threat?
I expected more to develop on that aspect of technology as it is another added strength to decentralization having to have Bitcoin node run via satellite bypassing internet connection. Normally you should expect projects like this to grow and expand and I still believe it will be an option to explore going forward.

Venezuela has set up a satellite connection that will provide a means for Bitcoin nodes to synchronise with the global blockchain as an answer to poor internet connectivity in the country.

Here is an option Venezuela is exploring to get connected to Bitcoin node since internet connection in the country is poor. I see the satellite connection coming to the rescue here to solve internet connection is a limitation.

We are heading into a future where technological developments are on the rise and from areas of less expectation.

We owe it to ourselves to make Hive great

Venezuela can’t even keep its water or electricity on. There is no way Venezuela can keep a satellite node running nor would NASA allow it to exist. If there even is one, a hunter-killer satellite will knock it out of orbit within days.

I apologize to South Africa and it’s legendary space program, cutting edge technology and military might.
