Having the technology behind blockchain spread into use case such as identity documents and eventually into the likes of governmental elections besides cryptocurrency is an avenue that should bleed into adoption.

Announced today, the deal will see Cardano-based decentralized identity solution Atala Prism initially deployed in the country's schools. It will be used to create "tamper-proof records" of educational performance across 3,500 schools and five million students to instantly verify grades.

One of the advantages with blockchain is once data is entered onto the public ledger it can't be altered compared to the system we have currently which allows room for corruption.
I do feel we are heading towards a future where one will be using a blockchain technology and be unaware of it.

There is however lots of political unrest in Ethiopia, the recent government imposed internet shutdown amongst other conflicts, it will be great to see Cardano successfully pull of the blockchain-based identity system.

This is a perfect use case for blockchain. There is a lot of corruption in government department and people do a lot of forgery too. As contracts cannot be modified so this could be very useful in these scenarios.
Finally some governments are coming forward to start using it which is a positive sign.
